The gate opening height and the water level of upstream and downstream are two very important measurement parameters in the automatic metering gate system. With the continuous improvement of control systems, requirements for the precision of these two measurement parameters in the sluice gate control system are higher and higher. Currently the opening measuring devices and the water level measuring devices that widely used at home and abroad have various deficiencies, especially when they are applied in the wild harsh environment, the performance of measuring devices will be greatly affected, therefore, the development of sensors for automatic metering sluice gate is very necessary.Designed several opening measuring sensors for sluice gate and sensors for measuring water level of upstream and downstream in this thesis, analyzed the experimental data after production of sensors, specific content has the following areas:(1) Designed a two-wire variable resistive angle sensor which has4-20mA output signal. Besides,it has designed the sensor mechanical structure and the circuit, and completed the production commissioning of the angle sensor.(2) Designed four type of non-contact magnetic angle sensors, including the digital signals(RS485、RS232) output and the analog signals (0-5V、4-20mA) output. Carried out the sensor mechanical structure and the circuit completed several sensors’ embedded programming.Analyzed the experimental data when finished sensors’ production.Validated the sensors’feasibility of applying in the automatic metering sluice gate.(3) Designed an ultrasonic wave water level sensor. According to the principle of ultrasonic distance measurement and the bonding temperature compensation,the circuit and procedures were designed. Conducted an experiment when finished production of the sensor, and analyzed the measuring experimental data.(4) Built up an experimental platform with a PMAC motion control card and a servo motor. Conducted double-loop control with position and velocity loops, and tested the performance of sensors for sluice gate’s opening measurement. Conducted the experimental platform of ultrasonic wave water level sensor, and completed the performance test of ultrasonic wave water level sensor.According to the experimental results, it has verified that the design of the angle sensors and ultrasonic level sensor are suitable for opening measurement and water level measurement of automatic sluice gate.
