A Instrument For Measuring The Opening Force Of Pure Water Bottle Cap

The technology of torque measuring was widely used in the research and development of mechanical products,such us testing and analysis,quality inspection,optimization control and other fields. With the rapid development of modern drinks industry and high demands of product quality,the opening force of drinks cap caused a high degree of concern by the enterprise.The opening force of bottle cap is one of the key technical parameters of production enterprise offline or online detection. Whether or not the opening force value is suitable, it has a great influence in products transportation,storage shelf-life and final consumption. At present, the manner of manually opened was used to measure the opening force of the bottle cap by most of the instruments, which is seriously affected by human factors.However the automated way was used by the foreign advanced measuring equipment to open the bottle, which was bulky, more stringent requirements on the working environment.Basing on torque sensor, this paper designs a portable, automatic opening cap force measuring instrument, which can accurately measure the opening force of the bottle cap.The instrument is small, able to adapt to the factory environment and easy to bring into the production workshop for field measurement.A single-chip was used by the instrument as a signal source to generate pulses which is output to the driver for power amplification driving the stepper motor to twist the cap movement, supplemented by the corresponding mechanical structure, to achieve automatically open the cap; The torque sensor and the computer technology combined to form an automatic torque measurement system. This paper mainly completes the research work as follows:1 Design the complete system through browsing the domestic and foreign material analysis, as well as the needs of the enterprises;2 The hardware system is designed, which included overall structure hardware,mechanical platform , torque measurement module hardware and control display circuit;3 The software system is designed, which included overall architecture of the software,platform motion control software, computer system software and single-chip system software.The instrument is combined by single-chip, stepper motor, sensors and computer technology to develop an portable, automatic pure water bottle cap opening force measuring instrument. The instrument has a range of functions which included automatically measuring the cap opening force and transmitting the data to the computer,displaying the data through the computer, drawing the real-time dynamic curve, storing the data in the database and printing the result report.
