Empirical Analysis Reserch On Influencing Factors Of High-Speed Rail Construction Safety

Railway, as the biggest land transport system, experienced several reforms and accelerations to fit the development of society and economy. Particularly after the global finance crisis in2008, the high-speed rail became the promoter to stimulate domestic demand and made a great development. By the end of December in2012, there are more than13thousand kilometers of high-speed rail lines in china where trains can run at the speed of200km per hour or even higher. During the five years from2007to2012,19.7thousand kilometers of rail have been newly built in China, including8.951thousand kilometers of high-speed rail. But in this context, there were many accidents occurred on high-speed rail, which brought tremendous losses and damages to our country, society and people.This paper is based on many related domestic and foreign researches, and on interviews with staff on construction site. I began this research with the factors in construction which may influence the safety of high-speed rails. By recognizing, analyzing and evaluating the source of danger in the construction of high-speed rail, I found the most significant one; and I recognized the factors which can affect the safety of high-speed rail; I designed a questionnaire named the factors which have an influence on the safety of high-speed rails’ construction. After collecting the necessary data, we use SPSS19.0to finish the descriptive statistics, reliability analysis and EFA. By doing this, we can purify the scales in the questionnaire and conclude the final scales; and we can get a new questionnaire after the procedure of EFA, gather data again, meanwhile we carry on CFA by using Lisrel8.71. Finally we abstract6factors from those possible factors which may affect on the construction of high-speed rail and interpreted the6factors.This research mainly consisted of two parts, one is qualitative study by interviewing experts and constructors, another one is quantitative empirical study. Both in the recognizing and evaluating the elements which influence the construction safety of high-speed rail, and the dangerous sources in the construction of high-speed rail, the final result came out with the6factors which will affect the safety of high-speed rail, which can offer powerful theoretical support for the construction of high-speed rail, meanwhile, it would be quite efficient to improve safety productivity and decrease losses in many aspects.
