The Air suspension system (AIRMATIC) is a new vehicle suspension technology intoday’s science and technology society, being widely popular in Europe and the UnitedStates as an important components product of chassis. The Air suspension system is a newtype of suspension system, which combines aerodynamics and technologies of suspension.The air suspension technology is the key technology of the development of large-scalespecial cars, luxury cars, and traditional family car in the future, has great market prospectand wide development space, is the key research that The majority of scholars areresearching on.This paper uses the air spring of electronic control active air suspension system as theresearch object, and mainly researches on the mechanical properties and the air springstiffness characteristics analysis, and establishes the corresponding physical model andmathematical model; And Matlab/Simulink simulation software is applied to the analysis,getting the simulation results and analyzing the results.The first chapter mainly describes the characteristics, classification standard and theevaluation index of air suspension system; And describes the components of theelectronically controlled air suspension system, the main characteristics of the electronicallycontrolled air suspension system;and describes the domestic and foreign scholars’ researchstatus of the electronically controlled air suspension system. And describes the work to becarried out in future.The second chapter mainly describes the air spring’s structure, characteristic andclassification, and analyses the air spring’s stiffness characteristics and frequencycharacteristics; At the same time do experiments to get the dynamic and staticcharacteristics of the air spring, and get the air spring force-displacement curve, and getair spring stiffness characteristic curve by Matlab. The third chapter mainly describes the methods of physical model and mathematicalmodel for one-piece air spring, and gets the simplified physical model and the stiffnesscharacteristics simplified model of air spring. And built the corresponding simulation modelaccording to the simplified models above.The fourth chapter mainly describes the active control algorithm of air suspension inthis paper----fuzzy control technology; At the same time design the suitable fuzzy controllerfor the air suspension system. In this paper, mainly using fuzzy control method to activecontrol of air spring, get superior performance of the active control air suspension.The fifth chapter’s research content is mainly the analysis of simulation results.Establishes the1/4vehicle dynamics model by Matlab/Simulink, and carries out andsimulates the simulation model by changing the road condition.The sixth chapter is a summary section that summarizes the content of research, findsout the deficiency of his own research papers, and looks forward to the future that needs tostrengthen the content of the research. Through the study of this article can be seen thatusing fuzzy controlled air suspension model has a good vehicle riding comfort.In short, the nonlinear characteristics of air spring is very good, in the application of airspring suspension system will have a good effect on vehicle riding comfort. The results ofthis article can provide the reference for the further study of the air suspension controlalgorithm.
