Nowadays environmental quality has been declining and oil supply is more urgent,which require higher standards of fuel economy and emission posing an unprecedenteddemand for traditional internal-combustion engine. Under such circumstances, we shoulddevelop a new kind of energy automobile, which is clearly proposed in the national12thfive-year plan.Relying on a school-enterprise cooperation project, this paper study on the hybrid busshifting process of the Hybrid-Driving-Mode when the battery state of charge is low and ofthe Driving-Charge-Mode while the battery state of charge is high. The clutch controlstrategy is based on the dynamics equation and the transferring torque characteristics in theshifting process. Select the speed difference between the driving plate and the driven plateof clutch and the engine speed as the parameters that determine the speed of clutchengagement, and the parameters determine the reference speed of clutch driving motorthrough the fuzzy controller. Then get the voltage value loaded on the clutch driving motorthrough the double-loop PI control. The maximum of clutch engagement speed isdetermined by the reference value of the maximum impact of the shift process.In this paper, Software-In-the-Loop simulation test model is based on the single-axisparallel hybrid vehicle structure. By the modular modeling idea, the vehicle system isdivided into7parts including engine, transmission, clutch, clutch actuator, clutch drivingmotor, road environment and the controller. The corresponding simulation model has beenbuilt in Matlab/Simulink, and Software-In-the-Loop simulation test has been made for theshifting process from1st gear to2nd gear in Hybrid drive mode and from2nd gear to1stgear in Driving Charge Mode.After the Software-In-the-Loop simulation, the Hardware-In-the-Loop simulationplatform has been built and the Software-In-the-Loop simulation test for the model has been made. Based on the result data of Software-In-the-Loop and Hardware-In-the-Loop, thesimulation result has been analyzed to verify the effectiveness of the clutch control strategyand the correctness of the Software-In-the-Loop simulation test model.
