In recent years, as the rapid development of global level of industrialization, the autoindustry has a bright future in our country and abroad. Lots of nice and cosy cars becomeconvenient vehicle in stead of luxuries to come into families. Convenience is broughtbecause of this. But at the same time it also led to rapid growth of cars, road congestion andaccident occurrences in our limited environment space. Faced with this reality, the problemof traffic safety attracts great concern in society. In this information era, progressiveautomotive communication technologies and wireless networking technologies havebrought a new revelation to solve this problem.After a comprehensive analysis of various factors, one important reason of caraccidents is that the drivers’ slow response to the incident. The driver can not get timelywarning to make a proper disposition measure. Then tragedy occurs eventually. The key tosolving this problem is the time, in which emergency involving traffic safety packets can betransmitted and get a timely response. We can improve the entire transportation systemsafety factor.At present, the development of network technology has made car-car networking,car-road networking become reality. The traffic status information in car produced by ECUcan interact with the Internet through wireless network technology. One way to achieve thistechnology is car-car networking, car-road networking based on intelligent transportationsystem. And the key communications technology to rely on is the vehicle self-organizingnetwork (Vehicle Ad-hoc Network, VANET) technology.In order to achieve car-car coordination and car-road coordination control system, theresearch group was involved in the Science and Technology Development Project of JilinProvince-"credible data and reliable communication application service platform ofvehicle networking ". The subject "VANET emergency response mechanism timelymessage” is generated so as to reduce emergency message transmission time.By analyzingthe existing network packet transmission mechanism, we find out effective ways to shortenthe transmission time of emergency messages.The core technology of our project is the gateway on-board based on Linux OS, thekernel module technology, virtual network equipment technology and network packetfiltering technology Net filter Architecture technology. Packets timely emergency responsemechanism we studied in this paper closely integrated intelligent transportation system toget off with a self-organizing network (VANET) traffic safety scenarios, drawing on the zero-copy packets fast transmission of thought, through embedded vehicle gateway willinvolve network traffic safety packets of information collection, use Linux kernel modulesdynamically loaded mechanism, using a virtual network device technology design modulepacket network packet filtering and packet processing module vdev, The former isresponsible for traffic safety emergency packet filtering; the latter is responsible forpersonal handling and fast transporting. Experimental data suggest that compared withtraditional transmission mechanism of network message, the instant responding mechanismcan filter traffic safety emergency message efficiently and improve the speed of emergencymessage transmission.The accomplishment of the project laid a solid foundation for the future intelligenttransportation systems of emergency response mechanism timely messages and theindustrial development of the successful implementation of related products has played apositive role in promoting.
