At present, the packaging machinery in general tend to the development of high speed,high efficiency and high quality. Transverse sealing technology that is one of the keytechnologies for a pillow packaging machine seriously restricts the development of pillowpackaging machine. The transverse sealing device is the embodiment of the transverse sealingtechnology of concrete, and quality of the transverse sealing device affects the performance ofthe whole packaging machine.The structure and function of common transverse sealing device are analyzed, and pointsout the existing problems of the transverse sealing device. Reciprocating transverse havesome problems, such as low transverse sealer sealing speed, low packing efficiency; rotatingtransverse sealer have also some problems such as not enough transverse sealing time, at thesame exist vibration problem because of high packing speed.Rotary reciprocating transverse sealing device is a new type of the transverse sealingdevice, less research has been done about rotary reciprocating transverse sealing device inchina. Motion trajectory of rotary reciprocating the transverse sealing device is similar to theD shape curve. The linear part of the D shaped curve can effectively prolong the heat sealingtime, and improve the heat sealing quality. This paper establishes the mathematics model ofkinematics and motion control program about it, and has carried on the kinematics simulationanalysis.The motion accuracy is an important factor affecting the quality, life and reliability ofmechanical products. Reliability design can improve the reliability of movement precision ofmechanism. This paper studied reliability sensitivity of rotating and reciprocating sealingmechanism. The influence of different parameters on the reliability of mechanism kinematicaccuracy has been derived, and provides a theoretical basis for the design and manufacture of mechanism.Rotary transverse sealing device still has very strong applicability in the condition ofsealing short heat sealing time. The rotary sealing device is a transverse sealing of the highestrate of the transverse sealing, eccentric mass will produce the large inertia force in high speedcondition. Additional weight dynamic balance is applied. Optimization model of dynamicbalance has been set up. Result of optimization show that the dynamic performance of themechanism has been improved.
