During recent years, our country has developed rapidly. Meanwhile, the level of residents’income has also increased sharply. People pay more and more attention to the quality of entertainment activities. Many residents begin to make sports as the first choice of holiday recreation. As the process of SPOTS FOR ALL in our country, sports has gradually imbued all aspects of human life. In the process of urbanization, sports combines with urban green space, and immerged a kind of theme park with distinguished feature of sports—SPOTRS PARK.With the reform of sports facilities and the surroundings, sports parks offer more green space for the cities, meanwhile solve the problem of per capita sports land shortage. Sports Park is an indispensable carrier of city leisure system, as well as one of the main places of relieving pressure, adjusting mood, and exercising bodies for people. However, sports park construction in our country is still in its infancy. At present, the issues of sports park understanding and constructing still needs to be resolved. Only resolving theses issues, can we plan and design sports park landscape more scientifically and reasonably, in order to truly meet the needs of the public.This article took Nanjing Youth Olympic Sports Park landscape planning and designing as an example, combined with methods of document retrieval and field investigation, made a research into sports park landscape planning and designing in the aspects of site selection, partition, projects planning, ecological design and cultural inheritance. Set the concept of Sports Park by consulting books, concluded the common methods of sports park landscape planning and designing. Analyzed superiorities of various design methods in combination with cases researched, and put forward the revelation to Nanjing Youth Olympic Sports Park landscape planning and designing. Summarized the state of China’s sports parks through a questionnaire survey, and found some common problems existing in our sports parks. Finally made the countermeasures and suggestions combined with the experience of Nanjing Youth Olympic Sports Park landscape planning and designing.With the deepening carrying out of the National Fitness Campaign in China, and the holding of more and more sports events in various cities; sports has gradually become an important tache of people’s casual living, sports park landscape planning and designing will be more and more brought to the attention of the landscape architects. This article provided references for the landscape planning and designing, as well as practical operation, for Sports Park, and has certain theoretical significance and practical application value.
