With China’s power electronics industry and its industry development, the scale ofmodern power system and technology development speeds up day by day. High precisionsensitivity of electric power equipment constantly updated, so that users of the grid reliabilityand power quality requirements are increasingly high. Improve the quality and enhance thestability of the electricity system has become the main direction of domestic and foreignresearch.That is the focus of this paper can achieve rapid dynamic reactive powercompensation for power system static var generator SVG.This paper describes the study of dynamic reactive power compensation devices at homeand abroad, classification and basic principles. Classify and research the commonly usedreactive current detection method, comparative advantages and disadvantages of each method,Choose reactive current detection instantaneous reactive power theory reactive currentdetection method based on.Established mathematical model of static var generator, studied the voltage space vectorcontrol, vector transform space when extracted signal modulation, space vector transform aconcrete analysis and derivation, by calculating the spatial position to calculate the duty cycleof the time it controls the on-time of the switch, the compensation signal can be preciselymodulated. In order to improve the control precision, maintaining real-time reactive currentcompensation, choose deadbeat control and voltage space vector control combining as thecontrol scheme,Studied deadbeat prediction method and choose forecasting method based onrepeated observations of the compensation current forecasts, The current forecast is convertedto a voltage signal generated through the voltage space vector control compensation signal,and then come to a trigger pulse inverter drive signal emitted reactive power compensationsystem.On the basis of theoretical analysis and calculation, through MATLAB/SIMULINKsimulation software for resistive and inductive load resistive capacitive load in two situationswere simulated design and analysis, comparing conventional PI control and deadbeat controlcompensation results by simulation analysis, deadbeat space vector control can be performedmore quickly and reactive power compensation accurate, verified paper design deadbeat spacevector control strategy is feasible and advanced, can achieve the desired results. Finally,design the system hardware and software, selecte the hardware circuit device SVG and designthe control circuit, show the main program flow diagram of software program, build a solidfoundation for SVG experimental platform put up late.
