City traffic is facing a series of challenges, such as the road congestion, parkingdifficulties, traffic safety and so on, Traffic problems have become the bottleneck of theeconomic development of all countries in the world. Intelligent unmanned vehicles is animportant part of intelligent traffic system, cooperating with the city traffic control systemand a reasonable distribution of traffic flow, the traffic congestion will be reduced and thesmooth flow of traffic will be realized, it will greatly improve the city traffic situation, soself driving technology is the development tendency of future transportation.In order to research micro car platform with more scalable and more feature, theautonomous driving system was constructed and realized based on the3D micro trafficenvironment in this paper. This paper mainly studies the construction and implementationof micro shrinkage of hardware platform, collecting and processing information of singlepath, control algorithm of the motor and the steering gear, a summary of the work done inthis article are as follows:Firstly, the construction of the microfilm car was put forward according to thelimitations and shortcomings of existing intelligent platform, and the paper narrates theconstruction of the system and the function of each part from aspects of hardware andsoftware;Secondly, the hardware system of the microfilm car was designed specifically,especially explained the selection and layout of each sensor in data acquisition system, theimplementation of circuit design of motor and actuator module of the system, the design ofpower module and the selection of control panel;Once again, the path identification under single path was studied, an improvedalgorithm of road edge detection based on Roberts operator and Sobel operator wasproposed by analyzing the filtering and denoising of the obtained image, the detection ofroad edge;Finally, the application of PID control algorithm in the speed and direction control ofmicro car was studied. In the aspect of the speed control of microfilm car, we used theincremental PID algorithm and the reverse braking to control the motor. In the directioncontrol of microfilm car, we use the positional PID open loop control and a detailedanalysis of the tuning of PID parameters in the control of speed and direction was carriedout. A bold attempt in the aspect of component selection, construction, path identification,control strategy and so on was tried in the microfilm car, besides, the desktop debuggingand runway debugging were did to verify the reliability of hardware platform and thestability of PID control algorithm in microfilm car, the obtained results was proved toachieve the desired effect.
