With the economic development, the moderate/long distance communication strengthens because of the regional economic construction, the people’s income increases, as well as the improvement of living standards, which results in passengers traveling moderate/long distance according to their different purposes., the moderate/long distance of passengers travel transportation mode varies because of the science and technology development updates, the transportation equipment improvement, the construction of high speed railway traffic,as well as the improvement of highway network and the aviation passenger transport. And the passenger travel moderate/long distance travel choice will be in accordance with the characteristics of themselves. Therefore, the moderate/long distance traveling behaviors,and the factors influencing the travelers choice and the association should be studied,which means a lot.Based on the comprehensive development of moderate/long-distance transportation system,from the perspective of system theory. In terms of the relevant theory of the moderate/long distance transportation perfection, and the improvement of moderate/long distance transportation planning, and the adjustment management and the transportation mode structure optimization to provide the reference for moderate/long distance, the inner mechanism of the moderate/long distance traveling mode choice and the main factors means a lot,both theoretically and practically.First of all, by collecting relevant literature at home and from abroad, and combining the passenger traveling before the process analysis based on the theory of planned behavior,the thesis put forward the main factors wich influence the traveling mode choice, safety, convenience, comfort, punctuality and rationality about fares, passenger attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control.Secondly,combining the structural equation model, and the theory of planned behavior as the core, the moderate/long distance traveling mode choice model is established. Finally, taking the high-speed railway as an example, the thesis designed the questionnaire,with the help of the SPSS software analysis survey,by the AMOS software model assuming the exploratory analysis modification and inspection paths between variables, the path coefficients between variables and the main evaluation indicators fit for the grass-roots model meeting the requirements is obtained.
