| Road traffic data is not only essential safeguard for the national economic construction and social development, but also directly related with vial interests of each object of transportation service. It is basic materials of urban traffic management, which is usually stored in list form by the department of road traffic management. Currently, with mounting of automobiles and expanding of road network scale, the data size of road traffic is increasing exponentially. Users feel more difficult to use these data, which is expressed as follows. Firstly, quality problems including traffic data error and missing because of acquisition and transmission and so on. Then, difficulties of abstract data in tabular form without representing spatial locationTraffic information’s analysis and the meaning of visual display are expounded in this thesis aiming at acquisition and analysis situation at the present stage. Traffic data of GPS enables managers to inquire systematically conditions of road traffic management and analyze them deeply and sophisticatedly such as searching and representation of the shortest path, road intersection traffic and service level and departure condition among traffic zones and so on.It combines features of traffic information data and GPS data theories to design assessment system based on GPS traffic information by analyzing data evaluation method in this industry and relative experiences in others. This system can achieve processing analysis of GPS traffic data by using related algorithm, improvements of its quality, vehicle flow’s inquiry and setting, vehicles’ localization and setting and management of the road information including adding, deleting and modification. |
