The vehicle-based photoelectric stabilized platform installed on the movingvehicle is a platform system of loading photoelectric devices, used for isolatingcarrier of all kinds of interference in the movement. The platform ensures thephotoelectric devices stability relative to the inertia space, and it works normally. The vehicle-based stabilized platform is designed with the advantages of highprecision, large load bearing, multitasking loads, light weight and miniaturization etc.The platform providing a workplace to devices such as the infrared warning system, play a key role for high precision target detection and guidance.Firstly, according to the mission requirements, the architectural structureconcept is determined and then introduces the compositions of the stabilizedphotoelectric platform to complete the layout structural design of platform. The setof axes are designed based on the load capacity and the precision requirement of axiswith the detail analysis and checking. Through comparing the common types of theangle measurement element, the corresponding type is determined. Then, the critical parts of outer frame is be analyzed by the finite-elementanalysis software MSC.Patran to find the weakness of structure. According theanalysis results, the optimal projects of the outer frame are presented from two sides, including the local strengthen of structure and the veins structure optimization. After the structural optimization, the structural rigid has been quite improved and thefinite-element analysis results are desirable.Lastly, the simplification is made for the component structure of the stabilizedplatform, and the modal analysis is also conducted for the whole structure, which themodal results of the whole unite is obtained. Through the analysis of vibration modeand the natural frequency, the rigid and dynamic properties of the stabilized platformall satisfy the requirements.
