| Hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) combine the advantages of traditional internalcombustion engine vehicles and electric vehicles. It has the advantages of the internalcombustion engine, such as good dynamic performance, long duration, and also hasthe advantages of the motor such as low noise and no pollution. Although hybridelectric vehicles cannot fully achieve zero emission standard, but the compositeindicators such as power, economy and emissions can meet the requirements of newenergy vehicles in the current society. The contradictions between lack of oilresources, serious environmental problems and automobile demand can be alleviatedto some extent. Thus, hybrid electric vehicles have become the preferred cars of eachcountry to promote. In transmission systems of hybrid electric vehicles, the silentchain has been widely used. In order to meet overall noise level requirements ofhybrid electric vehicles proposed by automotive manufacturers, the silent chainapplied in transmission systems of hybrid electric vehicles needs have good noisecharacteristics.Based on one of major science and technology projects of Jilin province--keytechnologies research of chain transmission system applied in hybrid electric vehicles,basic theories of hybrid electric vehicles and Hy-Vo silent chain are introduced.According to the engagement principles and design parameters provided bymanufacturers, the Hy-Vo silent chain transmission system applied in the hybridelectric vehicles is designed. The geometric models and three-dimensional simulationmodels are established. Contact forces and dynamic characteristics are analyzed andthe test on the noise characteristics is studied.Research status of the hybrid electric vehicle and the silent chain at home andabroad is described in detail. The characteristics and the different structure forms ofthe hybrid electric vehicle and characteristics of the Hy-Vo silent chain are introduced.According to the design parameters provided by manufacturers, geometricparameters of the chain plate, the sprocket and the guide of the Hy-Vo silent chaindrive system are calculated. The three-dimensional models of the chain plate, thesprocket and the guide are established. The Hy-Vo silent chain transmission system isassembled.The Hy-Vo silent chain system in hybrid is simplified reasonably. Theappropriate amount of chain plates is reserved. Contact forces between chain plate and sprocket, chain plate and pin, pin and pin and the dynamic characteristics of theplate and the pin are studied. The results show that the Hy-Vo silent chain in hybridcan effectively realize the inner-outer meshing function. Dynamic characteristics ofchain plate and pin in the motion process match with the actual movement.On the basis of the basic theory of noise, through the correction method ofbackground noise, noise characteristics of the Hy-Vo silent chain transmission systemin hybrid are studied. The results show that the noise level of the Hy-Vo silent chaintransmission system in hybrid meets the requirements of the manufacturers. It alsoillustrates the design method of the Hy-Vo silent chain transmission system in hybridis feasible. It provides an important reference for the independent research anddevelopment of the chain in China.The design method of the Hy-Vo silent chain transmission system in hybrid isintroduced. To study the contact forces of the Hy-Vo silent chain and dynamiccharacteristics by using the multi-body dynamics theory can further test the feasibilityof the design method, and can provide basis for system optimization. Research onnoise characteristics of system can also test whether the design method of chain isreasonable. It is of great significance to the chain optimization. Therefore, the resultsof this paper have an important theoretical and practical significance. |
