| Hy-Vo silent chains was a complex top grade mechanical transmission. It wasthe frontier of disciplines and industry which surpassed the conventional chaintransmission. Because of mutative pitch and inside and outside edge meshing, Hy-Vosilent chains transmission performance was better than toothed belt transmission, geartransmission and roller chain transmission especially in the condition of high-speed,heavy duty, low noise, large center distance. In this paper, based on some Hy-Vo silent chainsrigid flexible coupling contact dynamic analysis was carried out, noise and wear testwas conducted.In this paper, application prospect and research value of new Hy-Vo silent chainswas explained, some problem about chain research was pointed out, the researchstatus home and abroad of chain transmission was reviewed, the history and currentsituation of multi-body and modern contact dynamics and relational theory andalgorithm.In this paper, using the multi-body and modern contact dynamics method, thecontact dynamic simulation model of silent chains transmission system was built.Contact force between plate and sprocket, plate and pin, pin and pin was obtainedbased on the model. With the help of rigid flexible coupling technology, dynamiccontact stress on flexible plate and flexible pin was analyzed, the meshing contactarea and its vary law was found, the convergence process of the meshing betweeninner, lateral chain plate and sprocket was analyzed.The noise test was conducted on the self-designed noise equipment which can beloaded automatically and adjusted speed automatically. The noise and spectrum ofchain transmission was researched with the help of AWA6290A real-time noiseanalysis equipment. The wear test was conducted on the power closed high-speedwear test equipment. The elongation curve of the chain was obtained. wear morphology of the plate and pin surface was carefully observed.The method of rigid flexible coupling contact dynamic can be similarly used inother chain transmission contact analysis, gear pair contact analysis, chain CVTtransmission analysis. The chain product researched in this paper had been used inturbine, high-precision grinding machines, auto gearbox and so on presently. Thispaper’s research achievement have significant academic value and engineeringapplication meaning. |
