In recent years, our country controlled magnetic confinement fusion energy (MFE) research has made great progress, two large Tokamak reactor EAST and HL-2A also have made great progress in scientific research, some experimental studies and experimental techniques to achieve the international advanced level. In order to fully bridge the gap between ITER and DEMO, laid a construction of science, technology and engineering foundation for the DEMO’s. This platform is the China fusion engineering testing reactor (CFETR). Equilibrium field coil magnet system as an important part, not only directly affect the plasma equilibrium in the vertical and horizontal field of maintaining the field, but also its structure and parameters have a direct impact on the quality of the plasma parameters and related to the success or failure of the entire plant construction. Thus it is necessary to equilibrium field coil design phase finite element analysis. The purpose is to provide a design to meet the physical requirements and secure the balance of the field magnet system.This paper describes the first three equilibrium shapes for CFETR, and then analyzed CFETR magnet device with ANSYS finite element analysis software in the electromagnetic analysis, especially for the three equilibrium shapes for a detailed analysis, in order to provide a theoretical foundation for subsequent engineering design and experimental physics. For the poloidal magnetic field coils, respectively, with a two-dimensional, three-dimensional electromagnetic analysis confirms for each other, all the calculations in the CFETR design basis, the magnetic flux density distribution is also in line with expectations in the three plasma equilibrium configuration requirements for subsequent CFETR magnet electromagnetic problems solution provides an important way.On the basis of the electromagnetic analysis, alone on the device to complete the balance of the field coil electromagnetic coupling structure analysis, completed the calculation of the various conditions and related mechanical performance simulation to optimize the design and improve the reliability of the device to ensure it the parameters to achieve the design requirements. The results show that the design stage is reasonable, is to select the best design under conditions designed to meet the space and a large safety margin.
