Study On The Historical And Cultural Landscape Renewal Of The Moat Of Tanzi Lake Park In Tancheng Shandong Province

Historical and cultural landscape is the historical relic of important humanactivitiesinspecial geographic position and in special period. The moats and city wallslandscape is the very typical examples. In the past，the moat played an important role in a longperiod in history as the city fortification. There are many cities retained the integrity of the walland moat sites. Nowadays there are also quite a number of smaller cities with incomplete moatsand walls that still have historical value. But some great changes have taken place in theirsurrounding environment. Due to the backward of people’s ideas, government’s neglection andother reasons, some section of the city moats have collapsed and wasted naturally or artificiallyrandomly removed and built, which results in a large number of precious historical relics beingdestroyed and caused certain social problems. How to renew these ancient historical treasuresthat used to paly a great influential role in contemporary is an exploratory and practicaltopicsfor modern landscape plan and design.First of all, this paper tries to dig of the element composition, structural characteristics ofthe ancient moats system and their important effect on human material and spiritual aspectsthrough the collating and studying of relevant historical documents, revealing the role andstatus of ancient moats and the modern dilemma they are facing. Through the case analysis,this paper points out that the domestic moat reforms often ignore the historical and culturalexpression but make them as ordinary water conservancy project or hydrophilic fete. And thenit combined with the concepts of historical and cultural landscape, analyzing the constitutionand the special historical and cultural landscape value of moat, as well as the educationfunction of contemporary urban landscape and historical culture. Finally, this paper discussesand puts forward the principles and methods of the moat of historical and cultural landscapereform,pointing out the moat renovation of historical and cultural landscape should actively integrate into city life along with the development of the society, which make the moat as aoutdoor place that combined with the historical and cultural scene experience and recreationaland sports activities, consequently a new city and river relationship could be built.After a detailed study, through further research of the natural environment and social andhistorical background of Tanzi lake park renovation project, this paper guids the projectpractice with the summarized reform theory, finding out the cultural essence and the uniquecultural customs of Tancheng and creates a new central park of Tancheng through combiningthe historical picture and modern leisure entertainment and culture education. Finally, thispaper points out the expectation of the moat renovation，providing the theoretical and practicalreference for the future.
