Research On The Systemic Construction Of The Spatial Image Of National Geopark In China

With the rise of national geopark’construction in China, geological tourism is graduallyaccepted as a high-grade one by people,and the national geoparks have developed as aexhibition which is famous of geological value, landscape value and the value of scientificresearch and geological education.As we can see from the trend of national geoparks’development,the centre of constructions has been turned to the quality from the amount.Andthe construction of the spatial image of national geoparks is in order to establish the brandimage of geopark,emphasize the unique feature and promote their competitiveness.In thebackground of the ecological environment and the regional culture,this paper select thespatial image of national geopark as the object of study,take the site investigation andliterature as the base of the research,combine the study of geography, tourism, urban planning,architecture and landscape architecture to constitute the system of national geopark anddiscuss the constructional principle and way of this system.Firstly,based on the analysing the present constructional situation of national geopark,thepaper arrange the related research of different subjects, identify the related concepts andchoose the the object and way of study.Then draw on the experience of urban spatial imageand analysis the connotation of the system of spatial image of national geopark and itsinfluencing factors,then discuss the combinations between these factors.After the basiccognitive of system of spatial image has been built, analysis the constructional principle andconstitute of the system from the perspective of the protection and utilization of nationalgeopark and development of tourism,then figure out that the systemic construction of spatialimage of national geopark should be built from different levels and perspectives.And thenanalysis the systemic construction ways of spatial image from the whole geopark plotting, thewhole geopark planning and spatial image node design of geopark these three levels by usingthe theorys and studies of tourism, urban planning, architecture and landscapearchitecture.Finally put the research of systemic construction of spatial image of nationalgeopark into the specific case to test the feasibility of the research.After analysising thesystemic construction ways of spatial image of Baishishan national geopark, sum up theconclusion of the whole paper.The process of systemic construction of spatial image in national geopark is bulit fromdifferent levels and perspectives,and it accompanies the development of national geopark.Atthe beginning,plot the systemic construction after judging the characteristic of nationalgeopark,point out the direction and target of development from the rational identificationalimage, activity identificational image and vision identificational image these three aspects forthe construction of spatial image in the national geopark.Then plan the spatial image of wholegeopark from the perspective of urban planning, put forward the strategy of systemicconstruction of spatial image from four sides: spots configuration of the whole geopark,signature spatial image planning, spatial image planning of service facility and signsystem.Furthermore, propose the priority of the spatial image design of geopark’ node and raise different ways of the spatial image construction for the different functional areas ofgeopark.These spatial image constructions of different levels and different areas constitutethe system of spatial image of national geopark in China.
