In the modern society, there are more and more high-rise and ultra-high-rise buildings. Building fires occur frequently and the houses collapse, which the people’s life and property safety suffered casualties and loss. Therefore, the researches on building structure fire resistance seem more and more important. Moreover, with the urbanization level is higher and higher in our country, steel reinforced concrete structure has got more and more attention and widely use because of its superior performance. However, compared with reinforced concrete structure, the academic research on steel reinforced concrete structure is less due to the shorter time, and the mechanical properties of steel reinforced concrete structure after fire is rare. The in-depth studies on the mechanical properties of the steel reinforced concrete structures after fire are of great significance and value. This paper is based on the seismic experimental study of steel reinforced concrete column after fire. The main research contents and results include the following aspects:1. Steel reinforced concrete columns are to conduct fire tests according to standard time temperature curve. Choosing the different time in fire and simulating different fire conditions is to analysis the temperature field of structural element.2.Selecting reasonable thermal parameters of steel and concrete, and steel reinforced concrete column temperature field model established by finite element analysis software ABAQUS is to compare with the results between the temperature field simulation and fire tests in order to verify the validity of the model.3.This paper focuses in experimental study on seismic performance based on eight steel reinforced concrete columns after being applied the fire tests. In this experiment for the elements, the author gets the hysteretic curve and skeleton curve, and studies cracks development in the process of the test and the final failure pattern. Meanwhile, It is analyzed the effect of the period of exposure, axial compression ratio, steel ratio and the presence of the stud to the steel reinforced concrete column hysteresis curves, skeleton curves, ductility, rigidity degeneration, energy dissipation performance and so on, which shall provide experimental basis for finite element simulation.
