Passive house are buildings which assure a comfortable indoor climate in summer andwinter without needing conventional heating or cooling systems. The promotion of passivehousing in China is still at starting stage, Qinhuangdao "Water Front residential passivehouses demonstration project is the first passive house which has been built in China.Its mainenclosure structures were including high-efficient external insulation systems, goodair-tightness,ventilation system with high-efficient heating recycling,no-heat-bridge structure,sound insulation these five parts.In this thesis, analysis on yearly indoor comfort indexes, energy consumption andeconomical efficiency were made.The living test was made in two passive houses ofQinhuangdao Water Front from January to September in2013including heating, coolingand transition seasons. The main testing comfortable indexes were indoor temperature,humidity, concentration of CO2, noise and so on.Comparing the testing dates to the Germanpassive house comfortable standards and Chinese65%energy-saving residential buildingcomfortable standards respectively, the results shown that Water Front passive houses notonly satisfy Chinese65%energy-saving residential building comfortable standards but alsosatisfy the German passive house comfortable standards.Tsinghua DEST-c building environmental systems simulation software was used to builda digital model according to No.15building, German passive houses and Chinese65%energy-saving residential building two kinds of external structure models were built. Analysison their energy consumption was made on the same condition of sites,function of rooms,work and rest parameters.The results shown that compared with Chinese65%energy-savingresidential building, energy consumption of passive houses can increase74%in heatingseasons,21%in cooling seasons.This thesis made comparation about construction costs between passive houses andChinese65%energy-saving residential building. And analyse investment recovery period, theannual savings amount of coal and carbon dioxide emissions of passive houses.The resultsshown the construction costs of passive houses increased428.85yuan/m2, its recovery periodwas16.5years. In one year, Water Front passive houses can save796ton coal,2204toncarbon dioxide,2100000yuan operation costs, its performance were remarkble.
