The problem of energy is more and more prominent, and the energy consumption of buildings is more cared in the world. Simulating and calculating the energy consumption of buildings by computer show their advantages, in which scholars have made a lot development.But in the past people often more cared about the energy consumption of buildings in the town but not the country, and scholars often not studied the thermal pleasure by questionnaire, which all restrict energy-saving.This dissertation firstly makes questionnaire about the representative residential buildings in the country of Hengyang, and the questions are as following: how you felt in your buildings in summer and winter, and so on. Then it analyses dwellers'impressions about their residential buildings, the result of which can be a reference for energy-saving.By compare of energy consumption calculational methods, this dissertation confirms the computer simulation software-----DeST-h, with which at first establishes a model of the representative residential buildings in the country of Hengyang. Based on the actuality of this region, it sets some value for four primary factors (the material of the window glass ,the material of the outer-wall, the material of the flat roof and the buildings orientation), and then makes calculations about them. By the result of these calculations, this dissertation analyses how many these factors affect the buildings energy consumption.Based on the calculational result, combining the price list of structural material in this region, this dissertation makes economic analysis about the four factors, and counts out the static recycling period of the original investment and the income in the life cycle of, with which can more clearly shows how the four factors affect the buildings energy consumption. The progress of the buildings energy conservation of our country is rapid now, and will be more and more important in the country. Taking the thermal performance and energy consumption as the targets, with the methods such as questionnaire research and simulation & calculation and economy analysis, the dissertation shows some better thermal design methods to decrease the buildings energy consumption, which lend themselves to achieving the local residential buildings energy conservation standard, and shows some conferences for the energy-saving rebuilding of the extant buildings in the country. At the same time, this dissertation can be a conference for the building energy conservation design and rebuilding in the country of the hot in summer and cold in winter zone.The innovations and originalities of the paper are mainly included as following:(1) It finds out that southeast is the best orientation for the residential buildings in Hengyang village. (2) It Makes questionnaire research and simulation of energy consumption on the representative residential buildings in the country of Hengyang for the first time, and bands them together to gain a good result.
