With the development of urbanization motorization, the shortage of urban transportation resources becomes more serious. How to allocate urban traffic resources rationally and effectively has become an important problem of the development of urban transportation harmoniously. As the backbone of transportation network, urban transportation corridor is not only an important channel traffic flow, but also the key axis to allocate productive forces distribution and to guide the spatial extension. Development of urban transportation corridor is very important to adapt the rapid urbanization and motorization development, and it is necessary for the harmonious development of urban transportation. In this paper, we based on the existing research results and in-depth analysis of transportation corridor and construction mode to evaluate the construction projects comprehensively. We consider the urban land use, traffic flow and so on, to determine the urban transport corridor construction mode, and to maximize the use of urban resources to achieve the best allocation of resources.Firstly, we analyze the connotation of urban transit corridor and came up with the definition, category, and function. We also analyze advantages-disadvantages and adaptability of construction mode and confirm the premise, content and process of traffic corridor construction project evaluation.Secondly, based on the functional localization of transportation corridor and the system characteristic of different construction mode, we consider the four sub-goals to build index system-to promote comprehensive development of city, to improve the service level of transportation, to increase the benefits of social and environment, to ensure the engineering implementation.Thirdly, in consideration of the actual situation, we proposed a two stage comprehensive evaluation. We use interval number fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to determine the index weight. We also make a case study with Jingsi corridor in Jinan.Lastly, in order to use the model more intelligent and provide data support scientifically for government, we base on the evaluation model to design the prototype of decision optimization system.
