Research On Function Evaluation Of River Corridor In Mianyang City Based On GIS

The evaluation of urban river corridor function is an important reference for river ecological restoration and urban waterfront planning and a method to clarify the status quo.Taking the Lancang River Corridor in the downtown area of Mianyang as an example,the function is evaluated by GIS technology and analytic hierarchy process.The research object is urban river corridors with urban waterfront,embankment,urban roads,park squares and other urban waterfront spaces.The function of river corridor refers to the function and ability of the river corridor to operate or interact with the external environment.It is mainly divided into two categories: economic and social functions and natural ecological functions.Effectively exerting the function of the river corridor helps ecological restoration.The city repairs,develops the urban economy and beautifies the urban landscape.The river corridors in Mianyang City are criss-crossed and merged with the city.Due to various reasons,their functional status is uneven and the overall function is not ideal.Therefore,it is necessary to scientifically evaluate the status quo of the river corridor function,analyze the problem,and propose countermeasures.To achieve coordinated and sustainable development of the functions of river corridors,it is also expected to provide reference for the evaluation of river corridor functions in other cities.Based on the summarization of relevant researches at home and abroad,this paper combines the database and evaluation model constructed with multi-source data,and uses GIS technology to evaluate the representative river corridors of Mianyang City.The research results are as follows:1)The connotation of the river corridor and its functions is expounded.The river corridors of Mianyang City are divided into two categories: economic and social functions and natural ecological functions.2)The river corridor function evaluation index system was constructed from the aspects of urban land use intensity,human activity demand satisfaction,river use intensity,cultural aesthetic height,river environment,embankment highland environment and corridor overall environment,and then passed yaahp V10.5 software.Establish a hierarchical analysis judgment matrix to derive the weight of each index in the evaluation system,and construct a river corridor function evaluation model.3)It is confirmed that GIS technology can be applied to the evaluation of river function,and a large amount of complicated data is processed,converted and stored by GIS platform,and the evaluation results(variation of each functional strength)are visualized through comprehensive analysis.Therefore,the strategy of evaluating the post-evaluation of river corridor function is also realized.Firstly,the strength is derived from the whole,and then the partition is based on its strength and weakness,and the problem is searched from the local traceability.4)The results of the comprehensive evaluation of the functions of the Lancang River Corridor in Mianyang City show that:(1)At present,the economic and social functions of the river corridors in Mianyang City are mostly at the general level,and there is still much room for improvement on the whole.(2)The evaluation value of its natural ecological function is generally low,and the connection degree between nodes is poor,so the river corridor cannot perform the corresponding functions well.(3)There are obvious differences in the functional strength of river corridors in different districts.The economic and social functional strength of the old urban areas is higher,but the natural ecological functions are lower;the two types of functional strength of the new urban areas are weak;the natural ecological environment of the suburbs Very good,but the economic and social functions are extremely weak.(4)There are also certain differences in the river corridors in the same location,between the two sides of the river and between different river sections.5)According to the results of the evaluation,according to the different functional categories and their corresponding elements,based on the principles of ecological protection and ecological priority,corresponding improvements are proposed for the construction of different types of functions and the relationship between the functional elements.The guidance is to achieve the effect of the economic and social functions of the river corridor and the natural social functions.
