Study On Waterfront Plant Landscape Evaluation And Configuration Mode In Fuzhou

This paper used Fuzhou West Lake Park, Fuzhou Zuo Hai Park, Hot Spring Park, Chating Park, Jinshan Park, Baima river, Jinan river, South Riverside Park, North Riverside Park as main research objects, and got the data by field investigation, plant identification and record, photo taking. Author used SD method and BIB-LCJ method to evaluate the waterfront plant landscape of lake, inland river, Minjiang coast. By comparing the results of the two methods, and research on plant configuration of different waterfront landscape, results showed that:(1) SD method was more reasonable, and could objectively reflect the sample’s characters of waterfront plant landscape. But SD method required a high level of speciality of the valuator, and pursued too much on the single character of the sample, which lacked comparison and could not reflect the whole character of the sample. So the more accurate and perfect the evaluation factors were, the more reliable the results would be.(2) BIB-LCJ method focused on the whole evaluation of the waterfront plant landscape. The valuator evaluated by judging the sample’s quality. This method did not require a high level of speciality of the valuator, and could avoid the too subjective evaluation for one single landscape. But this method lacked criterion, and only relied on personal aesthetic. So the number and composing of the valuators had a great influence on the results.(3)The results of SD method and BIB-LCJ method were roughly consistent in landscape evaluation. But to a special sample, there would be a certain deviation between the results when the two methods were used respectively. Using the two methods synchronously to evaluate a sample could compensate the error in the results. As a result, only the sample that could meet the standard of the two methods and ranked high could be seen as outstanding. If the sample ranked poorly in both the two methods, it could be seen as bad.(4) From the landscape evaluation results, water front plant landscape in Fuzhou had following characters:The landscape elements of Fuzhou city waterfront plant landscape had rich configuration and the sense of hierarchy was high. Fuzhou paid more attention to native plant configuration, but the utilization rate was low. The character was the extensive usage of minority species. Seasonal changed plants were used less in waterfront landscape. There were few sesonal changed native plants and were used much less. The samples that had rich space dimension in waterfront plant landscape were less and intensive distribution. Excellent waterfront plant landscape were more concentrated in famous scenic spots, while the sense of hierarchy of waterfront plant landscape was weak in the newly built waterfront districts.(5) According to the problems of Fuzhou waterfront landscape, author put forward some suggestions on planning:According to the lake waterfront plant landscape configuration construction in Fuzhou, by the arrangement on hierachical arrangement, color and shape, author suggested to offer proposals on configuration according to whether the path was near the water or not. According to the Minjiang coast plant landscape configuration by the collocation instruction on hierachical arrangement, color and plant size, author suggested to offer proposals on arrangement instruction according to whether the path was near the water or not. According to the inland river plant landscape configuration construction in Fuzhou, by the collocation instruction on hierachical arrangement, the usage of native plants, plant size and garden buildings, author put forward different advices. Auther suggested to increase the number and species of seasonal changed plants, enrich plant configuration by increasing the usage of native plant species, increase the propotion of plants growing in the water and increase the space dimension of waterfront plant landscape.
