InNowadays, when the three traditional energies around the world, including the petroleum, coal and natural gas, are exhausting day by day, the energy conservation is attracting more and more attention. In all the energy consumption, the building energy consumption accounts for about1/3of the total consumption in society; the total amount of the building energy consumption is rising year by year in China, and its proportion in the total energy consumption has increased to27.45%from10%in the late1970s. But internationally, the building energy consumption in the developed countries accounts for about33%of the total energy consumption in general. Therefore, the researches from the Science and Technology Division of the National Ministry of Construction show that the proportion of China’s building energy consumption will eventually be up to about35%along with the acceleration of the urbanization and the improvement of the people’s quality of life. Due to such a large proportion, the building energy consumption has become the weakness of economic growth in China. The paper briefly introduces the exhibition industry and exhibition economy firstly, and then studies the power distribution forms of the exhibition buildings based on the specific combination with the Qingdao Hot Spring International Expo Center, analyzes the power supply and10KV power distribution system, the load level, the low-voltage system, power distribution room and energy consumption in the center, discusses the more energy-saving power distribution system, and proposes three optimization schemes for the improvement of power distribution system in the exhibition, introduces the design thought and specific implementation method of the three optimization schemes in detail and analyzes the optimization results, so as to provide some references for the exhibition-based power distribution design in future.
