Currently more than70%of the buildings heating mode is district heating in the urbanareas of northern China, part of the urbans district heating rate is as high as90%above. InBeijing District Heating Group, the temperature of the primary supply water on themonitoring system used to reach as high as137℃in the2012to2013heating season. Interms of the primary water supply temperature, there is no doubt that the temperature hasreached a bottleneck. Facing the double pressure of the expanding heating area and the ultrahigh water temperature, the large temperature difference heating mode is a feasible solution.Denmark’s researchers have started a series of development and project on the topic ofdecreasing temperature of the primary return water, and they have achieved some certainsuccess on: technology of primary mix-water; increasing efficiency of usage for heat capacityin Hot return water and development of elements in instantaneous heat exchange facilities.These successes are significant to lead and guide the research and application of the largetemperature difference heating mode in Beijing.This paper has collected energy consumption data of Sailuocheng A station, and analyzedthese data associated with real operational data in heat exchange station to derive some resultsto help redesign load at the station. Finally, after comparing these data, we could findpossibilities or methods for updating the facilities of large temperature difference heatingmode on the station.BDHG has made some attempt and effort in decreasing the temperature of the primaryreturn water. This article makes introduction of three project on decreasing the temperature ofthe primary return water, such as the application of absorption heat exchange unit inShougang area,the Temperature cascade utilization in the Sanlitun5station, the heat transferperformance experiment of plate heat exchanger. It needs to see that though BDHG has someachievements in decreasing the temperature of return water. Compared with the westerncountries as Denmark, there is a long way to go and we need to do more study and research.This paper combines theory with practice, through the research and application of largetemperature difference heating mode, and provide reference for practical engineering.
