This dissertation studies a method of design and realize the control and power system for On-line monitoring terminal of High Voltage(HV) transmission line. The system measures value such as leakage current、spread voltage、impulse current of the HV insulators, then uploads the data to background server via GPRS network and stores it in database, the data will be compared to former data and analysed so as to predicate the electric power system fault. The article first introduces the development of on-line monitoring system, then proposes its realization method of the teminal. The teminal control system includes Kernel Control Software Design(KCSD)、Upper Layer Communication Protocol Design(ULCPD) and the Terminal Power System Design(TPSD).The KCSD part discusses the scheme of the teminal software.This chapter takes task manager as main line,introduces the conformation of the terminal system,then studies the realization method of each function and discusses the software scheme,at last,introduces definition and function of the Scenarios File and gives the flow chart of the system.The ULCPD part discusses the communication method that using Frame Structure between CPUs in terminal system. In this chapter,the characteristic and time scale of I2C Bus is introduced first, then a communication model is set up, and all communication event is classified to a given Frame.Cooperate with the basic I2C Bus time scale,the upper layer communication protocol is realized and the Master/Slave process flow chart is also given.The TPSD part studies a method of designing power supply system for outdoor on-line monitoring device. It mainly includes the capacity selection for photovoltaic (PV) array and rechargeable battery pack、the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) control for PV array、the charge and discharge strategy for rechargeable battery pack and the anti-interference design under violence electromagnetism environment.Up to the present, the system’s anti-interference capability has been certified by correlative Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) TEST. Operational results show the high stability and high efficiency of this online monitoring terminal system.
