| Because of the functions in hypoglycemic, reducing blood lipid, antioxidation and antitumor, the soluble polysaccharide of Cyclocarya paliurus has broad prospects for development. In thispaper, soluble polysaccharide content in C. paliurus leaves was analyzed to study it’s seasonaldynamics, and how it was effected by genotype, environment and genotype×environment, so thatwe can determine the best period of harvest and the excellent genotype, and provide a referencefor finding a optimum combination of genotype and environment in the cultivation ofC.paliurus.The main results were as follows:1. The seasonal dynamics of the soluble polysaccharide content in April-November wasdecrease first and then increase and decrease again. The highest content was presented in April, the second peak in October, consider that the yield of leaves in October is much larger than April,so we choosed October as the best period harvest of leaves.2. The genetic variation of the soluble polysaccharide content in leaves of C. paliurus isreflected in the level of both provenance and family, but the variation in provenance level isgreater than the family level. There were significant differences in different provenances andfamilies on the soluble polysaccharide content.Kunming provenance has the highest content in allof provenances, and it’s variation in internal provenance is slight, so it can used be as a excellentprovenance. The five families that15%higher than the average are Lushan12#, Hefeng11#,Kunming1#, Kunming4#and Kunming5#.3. There was a significant positive correlation between soluble polysaccharide content andprovenance origin location altitude, but the same result didn’t present in longitude and latitude.Itshows that the soluble polysaccharide content C. paliurus provenances have not obviousgeographic variation.4. Genotype, environment and genotype×environment had a significant effect on thesoluble polysaccharide accumulation, and the maximum factors is environment. Light conditionand soluble polysaccharide accumulation are closely related, and in a certain range, the contentwill be increased when the intensity and time of illumination is increasing. |
