This paper studies the types of Sorghum SBX and adopts the method of three factors randomized block design. The effects of sowing density treatments, including225000plants/hm2(A1),375000plants/hm2(A2) and nitrogen quantity, including150kg/hm2(B1),300kg/hm2(B2) and clipping frequency(C1,C2,C3) on the biological yield, economical yield, quality, calorific value, nutrient value and characters of the types of Sorghum was studied. Here are the main results:1. The sowing density, nitrogen quantity and clipping frequency affect both the total fresh matter yield and total dry matter yield extremely significant difference. Sowing density’s impacts on the total fresh matter yield are the largest. The best combination of total fresh matter yield is A2B2C2(295285kg/hm2). Clipping frequency’s impacts on the total dry matter yield are the largest. The best combination of total dry matter yield is A2B2C1(70765kg/hm2). Sowing density and nitrogen quantity affect the grain yield significantly. Sowing density’s impacts are the large. The best combination of grain yield is A2B2C1(12048kg/hm2).2. According to the seeding emergence and reproduction ratio after clipping of reproduction, the emergence rate is100%. The reproduction ratio of fresh matter and dry matter by C3were0.76and0.95, which suggest the types of Sorghum SBX have powerful regenerative capacity and cut resistant. But it’s better to clip early.3. The moisture content, crude fiber, crude ash content of stems was higher than leaf content. The crude protein, crude fat and nitrogen free extract content than in leaves were low. Sowing density, affect the feeding quality indicators, is the main factor. Crude protein, crude fiber content by A1B2treatment combined maximum. Crude fat content by A2B2 treatment combined maximum. Crude ash content by A1B1treatment combined maximum. Sowing density on grain crude protein, crude fat, crude fiber content influence reached extremely significance. With the increase of clipping frequency, crude protein, crude fat content of stems and leaf showed an increasing trend, crude fiber content decreases, crude ash and moisture content are increased, moisture to harvest two times is the highest. The highest nutrition yield is a mowing, with the growth period in dry matter yield. Total crude protein yield to cutting the three is highest. Comprehensive nutrient content and yield of types of Sorghum SBX into class, SBX can suitable cutting using several times.4. Leaf caloric value was significantly greater than the stems caloric value. The maximum calorific value of stems and leaf were combinations A1B2C1treatment (20594j/g) and A1B2C2treatment (22195j/g). According to the clipping times, caloric value of stems is decreased with the cutting frequency increases, the highest is a mowing. Leaf caloric value with the increase of cutting times, there is a trend of rising, of which the maximum caloric value of cutting two times. The stubble of stems and leaf of the caloric value by A1B2treatment combined maximum. Sowing density’s impact on leaf caloric value was more significantly, along with the increase of cutting times. Grain caloric value by A1B2C1treatment combined maximum (19560j/g), A2B1C1treatment combined minimum (18618j/g). Sowing density and fertilizer quantity on grain caloric value impact reached the significant level, and sowing density’s influence greater than nitrogen.5. Gross energy (GE), digestible energy (DE), metabolizable energy (ME), and total digestible nutrient (TDN) of stems were less than the leaf. With the increase of cutting times, the energy were little change, all with A2B2highest. GE is increased with the increase of cutting times. DE, ME, TDN to cut two times is the highest. The highest of each energy output was C1. The energy output of stems greater than leaf by C1, but less than leaf by C2and C3.6. Sowing density and nitrogen fertilizer on the crop stubble plant height effects were reached extremely significant level, all with A1B2treatment combined maximum. Effective tiller number along with the increase of cutting times, while the first increased and then decreased, is C2>C3>C1. Stem diameter with the increase of cutting times, performance for C2>C1>C3, all with A1B2treatment combined maximum. With the increase of cutting times, leaf total number increasing and yellow leaf number decreasing. Nitrogen’s impact was large. Stem leaf ratio with the increase of cutting times and significantly reduced, A1B2stem leaf ratio minimum. Dry root weight with the cutting frequency increases, is beneficial to reduce the weight and the radio of root to shoot, A2B1is the lightest.
