1-year Ziziphus jujuba var.spinosa(Bunge)Hu seedlings from different provenances, local different plant types and different tree ages were chosen for experiment materials with the natural cooling in winter and different low-temperature treatment. We measured the dormant branchs’s physiological and biochemical indicators, like Proline, soluble sugar, malondialdehyde(MDA), soluble protein’s content and electrolytic leakage. In order to compare the Ziziphus jujuba var. spinosa(Bunge)Hu seedlings cold resistance with the analysis of principal component in Alar.The research results showed that:(1) The semi-lethal temperature (LT50) was conducted by using conductance method with Logistic Equation had better effect for estimating the cold-resistance of Ziziphus jujuba var.spinosa(Bunge)Hu seedlings. The results showed that:The Ziziphus jujuba var.spinosa (Bunge) Hu from Xintai Hebei, Taiyuan Shanxi, Chaoyang Liaoning and Weinan Shanxi provenance of flowering semi-lethal temperature (LT50) were:-28.05℃,-27.86℃,-27.25℃,-25.64℃.The Ziziphus jujuba var.spinosa (Bunge) Hu from Xintai Hebei provenance for the most cold hardiness, in addition, Taiyuan Shanxi, Chaoyang Liaoning and Weinan Shanxi. The different plant types Ziziphus jujuba var.spinosa (Bunge) Hu of flowering semi-lethal temperature (LT50) were:-32.70℃,-30.32℃,-21.68℃, Vertical branches bending Ziziphus jujuba var. spinosa (Bunge) Hu fight cold ability were the strongest; tufted were the worst.2-year Ziziphus jujuba var. spinosa (Bunge) Hu seedlings were more stronger than the1-year. The death rate of frostbite on brumal jujube in the field was investigated synchronously.(2) Higher Cellulose content, Hemi-cellulose content, Ligin content, Proline content, Soluble sugar content, Soluble proteins content, POD, Anthocyanin content Ziziphus jujuba var.spinosa (Bunge) Hu to cold hardiness; Electrolytic leakage, MDA, Polyphenol oxidase and Water saturation deficiency were the opposite with the analysis of correlation.(3) According to10different test materials in system clustering (Euclidean distance, average method),10different experimental materials can be divided into five types, the first kind of covered{Taiyuan Shanxi, Chaoyang Liaoning and Weinan Shanxi};The Second type of covered{Xintai Hebei, Vertical branch open fork(1-year)}; The third type of covered{Tuft(2-year)}; The fourth kind of covered{Tuft(1-year)}; The fifth kind of covered{Vertical branch open fork(2-year), Vertical branches bending(2-year)}.(4) Through principal component analysis and multivariate evaluation (grey correlation method), the order of cold resistance ability:Vertical branches bending(2-year)> Vertical branch open fork(2-year)>Tuft(2-year)>Vertical branches bending(1-year)>Xintai Hebei> Vertical branch open fork(1-year)>Taiyuan Shanxi>Chaoyang Liaoning>Weinan Shanxi. Among them, the factors which affect the strongest Ziziphus jujuba var.spinosa (Bunge) Hu cold hardiness are tree ages, followed by the provenances, the last are the plant types. Provide the basis for breeding.(5) The Ziziphus jujuba var.spinosa (Bunge) Hu from Xintai Hebei provenance for the most cold hardiness, in addition, Taiyuan Shanxi, Cbaoyang Liaoning and Weinan Shanxi based on a comprehensive analysis.(6) Vertical branches bending Ziziphus jujuba van spinosa (Bunge) Hu fight cold ability were the strongest; tufted were the worst and vertical branch open fork were the middle based on a comprehensive analysis.(7)2-year Ziziphus jujuba van spinosa (Bunge) Hu seedlings were more stronger cold resistance than the1-year based on a comprehensive analysis.(8) Organizational structure closely degrees and Branch-cortex ratio content can’t reflect significantly Ziziphus jujuba var.spinosa (Bunge) Hu seedlings cold resistance with the analysis of correlation and comprehensivation. Organizational structure closely degrees and Branch-cortex ratio content can’t be used as a key measure indicators of the Ziziphus jujuba var. spinosa (Bunge) Hu cold hardiness. Cellulose content, Hemi-cellulose content, Ligin content, Proline content, Soluble sugar content, Soluble proteins content, POD, Electrolytic leakage, MDA, Polyphenol oxidase and Water saturation deficiency can be used as a key measure indicators of the Ziziphus jujuba var. spinosa (Bunge) Hu cold hardiness.
