| Pinellia ternata (Thunb.) Breit is a perennial herbaceous plant of Araceae. It’s drying tuber is used as a common Chinese medicine, included in the first appendix of Chinese Pharmacopoeia. To study the relation of exogenous Ca2+and nitrogen form on the growth,stress resistance,yield and quality, a sand culture experiment was conducted and index of carbon and nitrogen metabolize, stress resistance and the accumulation of main components in Pinellia ternata. Results obtained were as follows.1. With the Ca2+concentration rising, SOD, POD activity gradually increased, and MDA content decreased, as well as the content of praline, soluble sucrose and soluble protein initially increased and then decreased. Compared with other treatments, spraying400mg·L-1Ca2+significantly enhanced the activity of stress resistant enzyme and osmoprotectant content. Therefore, test results suggested the capacity of heat resistance was improved in Pinellia ternata plants, the rate of lodge Pinellia ternata was postponed, and growing period was extended by spraying exogenous Ca2+.2. By spraying exogenous Ca2+, soluble oxalic acid content decreased in Pinellia ternata. With Ca2+concentration increasing, the oxalic soluble occupied of total oxalate ratio decreased in Pinellia ternata leaves. Oxalate form and content was transformed by spraying exogenous Ca2+3. With the Ca2+concentration rising, the accumulation of total alkaloid, total free organic acid Guanosine and yield initially increased then decreased in Pinellia ternata tubers. Compared with other treatments, spraying400mg·L-1Ca2+significantly enhanced yield and quality of Pinellia ternata tubers.4. With the increased of the NH+4-N/NO-3-N ratio, the activity of NR in Pinellia ternata leaves and root increased, meanwhile the activity of GS in Pinellia ternata leaves, petioles and root decreased. The activity of NR and GS in Pinellia ternata leaves were the higher than other treatments, because nitrogen assimilation was progressed in Pinellia ternata leaves.5. The NH4+-N/NO3--N ratio of25:75is propitious to the growth of Pinellia ternata. The NH4+-N/NO3--N ratio of75:25is propitious to the yield of Pinellia ternata A higher proportion of NO3-N is beneficial to the accumulation of total alkaloid and Guanosine; while a higher proportion of NH4+-N is beneficial to the accumulation of total free organic acids.Therefore, test results suggested that the capacity of heat resistance was improved in Pinellia ternata plants, the rate of lodge Pinellia ternata was postponed, growing period was extended and corresponding production has increased by spraying exogenous Ca2+.There was an effect significantly of Nitrogen forms on the yield quality of Pinellia ternata. |
