Study On Comparison Of Hybrid Offspring Hybridization Between Poll Dorset Sheep And Fukang Local Sheep

In order to establish the breeding and hybridization production system to adapt to the Xinjiang region,improve the production performance of local sheep breed, introduction Dorset sheep and Fukang localsheep from the plateau region hybridization. This test is similar birth-day-old Dorset sheep, and Fukanglocal hybrid generation (F1)30as the trial group, and30Fukang local sheep as the control group,determined by birth weight, weaning weight, body weight at10months of age and growth indicators andcarcass weight, dressing percentage, lean percentage slaughter performance indicators. The results show,under the same rearing conditions, sub-generation meat body of dorset sheep and local native species sheephybrid was obvious, that is chest wide and deep, beiyao wide straight, developed forequarters, hindquartersfullness. The effect of weight gain was significantly higher than the the local Native sheep first generation,and strong adaptability. The trial group F1of birth weight higher than the control group was1.37kg(45.07%); the trial group of weaning weight higher than the control group was6.66kg (46.8%); the trialgroup of10-month-old weight higher than in the control group was15.65kg(45.67%). The slaughter testresults show, the trial group compared with the control group, carcass weight increased4.6kg (23.7%);slaughter rates increased by2.88%; meat percentage improved3.8kg(25.76%); carcass meat weightincreased1.26%. Using the Poll Dorset sheep and Fukang local sheep hybridization can significantlyimprove meat performance of the Fukang local sheep.
