Using research methods of quantitative ecology, this paper studied on the characteristics of Pinustaiwanensis communities and the environment factors correlation of Daiyun Mountain. It studiedbiodiversity characteristics, the age structure, the regeneration niche and environmental variations of Pinustaiwanensis communities in Daiyun Mountain, in order to provide theoretical basis of protection andmanagement of forest for Daiyun Mountain national nature reserve, and provide scientific basis for Pinustaiwanensis. The concrete research mainly includes following conclusions:(1)There are51families,86genus and172species of vascular bundlesplants in31plots of Pinustaiwanensis communities in Daiyun Mountain. The bigger important value species:Pinus taiwanensis,Castanopsis eyrei Tutc,Rhododendron latoucheae,Schima superba,Rhododendron farrerae,Clethracavaleriei,Cunninghamia lanceolata,Lithocarpus hancei,Pinus massoniana,Fagus lucida,Eurya rubiginosa,Cyclobalanopsis multinervis,Enkianthus quinqueflouru,Rhododendron mariesii,Rhododendron simsii,Eurya groffi,Vaccinium carlesii,Oligostachyum oedogonatum,Bredia sinensis, etc, discovering Pinustaiwanensis easy mixed plantation with the bigger important value species or formed the pure forest.(2)Through TWINSPAN cluster analysis,Pinus taiwanensis communities were divided into tentypes:Comm.Pinus taiwanensis+Cunninghamia lanceolata-Lindera aggregata-Dicranopteris dichotoma,Comm.Pinus taiwanensis+Clethra cavaleriei-Lindera aggregata-Vaccinium carlesii-Dicranopteris dichoto,Comm.Pinus taiwanensis+Rhododendron latoucheae-Oligostachyum oedogonatum, Comm.Pinus taiw-anensis+Castanopsis eyrei-Oligostachyum oedogonatum-Eurya rubiginosa-Diplopterygium glaucu, Co-mm.Pinus taiwanensis+Enkianthus quinqueflourus-Vaccinium carlesii-Woodwardia japonica, Com m. P-inus taiwensis+Euryagroffii, comm.Pinus taiwensis+Rhododendron farrerae-Vacciniumcarlesii-Diploptry-gium, Comm.Pinus taiwanensis+aguslucida.-hododendron mariesii-Dicranopteris dichotoma, Comm.Pinus taiwanensis-Rhododendron mariesii-Isachne truncata. After TWINSPAN analysis, using two-dimens-ional DCA analysis. DCA results could reflect Pinus taiwanensis communities distributed change, the resultof DCA is to be consistent with TWINSPAN.(3)The Pinus taiwanensis communities diversity index have large differences, the overall tendencyspecies diversity decreased with altitude. The simpson index is bigger, its community type locates the higherelevation, Pinus taiwanensis dominant species are more obvious, the community type tends to the Pinustaiwanensis pure forest succession.(4)The diversity index of correlation analysis, Margaleg richness index and Menhinick index, Shannon-wiener index, Hill diversity N1were positively and significantly correlation(P<0.01).Shannon-wiener, Hill diversity index and diversity index were positively and significantly correlation(P<0.01).The positive correlation coefficient among Hill diversity index N1and N2were highly significant(P<0.01). Simpson diversity index, Shannon-wiener diversity index, diversity index, N1, Hill diversityindex were positively and significantly correlated with elevation (P<0.01), Margaleg richness index andMenhinick index were positively and significantly correlated with elevation (P<0.05). In addition to theSimpson index, the index with elevation had a descending trend.(5) The static life table of Pinus taiwanensis population was worked out through“space insteadof“time”method, showed that Pinus taiwanensis population survival curves have the same change trend infive areas of Fujian Province, the survival curve of the population tended to the Deevey II-Ill, reflected thepopulation dynamic changes, meanwhile Introducted survival analysis of the survival function, cumulativemortality rate function, mortality density function and hazard rate function, to study the population ofstructure and dynamics.(6)Pinus taiwanensis plays a dominant position in the communties.Regeneration niche overlapsbetween the population of Pinus taiwanensis and other species were above0.2,which indicated that thepopulation of Pinus taiwanensis and other species shared resource utilization spectrum.Pinus taiwanensisand Eurya rubiginosa,Vaccinium carlesii have higher regeneration niche overlaps, which these speciescompetition and repels strongly, caused its seedling and sapling renew difficulty.(7)The Pinus taiwanensis communities of Daiyun Mountain mainly distributes in jiuxian mountainsand south slope, north slope also has the distribution. The Pinus taiwanensis population along with the agechanges, its spatial pattern also has the obvious differences. The Pinus taiwanensis seedling mainly wereregular distribution, and transformation from the seedling to sapling and middle, accumulation intensity isrelatively large, mainly were contagious distribution, old trees mainly were regular distribution. Throughthe Greig-Smith method and the Kershaw method analysis, the Pinus taiwanensis population accumulationthe block scale in32m~2and64m~2to be the biggest. The Pinus taiwanensis population basically wascontagious distribution along with the elevation.Elevation of1600m-1700m its population was regulardistribution, which mainly is related to the survival environment.(8)The Pinus taiwanensis communities soil physical properties changes obviously, with the deepeningof the soil horizon, total porosity of that increasing, but nature moisture content and bulk density reducealong with the soil layer depth.Chemical properties of soil vertical variations is apparent, the forest soil nutrient index basically decreases with the soil depth.(9) Selecting four terrain factors and eleven soil factors of environmental factors, studyingrelationship of spatial pattern and environmental factors of Pinus taiwanensis communities, quantitativeanalysis relationship of environmental fators and influence the community patterns distribution variationof Pinus taiwanensis Community in Daiyun Mountain by detrended canonical correspondence analysis(DCCA). The results showed that:The DCCA first sorting axis mainly reflected spatial variability ofelevation, the second axis mainly reflected the change of pH value and slope, pH value tends to the smallerof the second axis from top to bottom, but Pinus taiwanensis community distributes obviously. The DCCAsorting indicated coefficient between the first axis and the elevation reaches0.5570, which elevation isdecisive function factor in Pinus taiwanensis community, which presents the higher elevation,Pinustaiwanensis population is more remarkable and performance outstandingly in elevation1400m-1600m. Themain species and environmental fators of Pinus taiwanensis community exist relative position in the DCCAordination plot, showing different species have their own distribution area and differentniches,,simultaneously the slope, the slope position, the organic matter, the human factor also are theimportant factors of Pinus taiwanensis community.DCA mainly reflects Pinus taiwanensis communitydifference, but CCA exists “Arch Effect”, DCCA is the combination DCA and the CCA union, In DCCAordination plot species sorting axis and the environment sorting axis of Pinus taiwanensis communitycorrelation coefficient is higher than DCA,which favorable to express elevation, organic matter to Pinustaiwanensis community,DCA, CCA, the DCCA three kinds of sorting results have some differences, thusreflecting between the Pinus taiwanensis community and the environment factor relations, DCCA is thebest choice.
