Fungi have abundant species and are widely distributed. Since penicillin was found, fungal metabolities have been of considerable importance as novel active compounds forplant protection as well as medicine. The fungi in genus Hericium are valuable edible and medical fungi. The fungi in genusHericium erinaceum are nutritious, abundant in many kinds of vitamins, amino acids andtrace element, they are of great value not only in nutrition aspect, but also in medical aspect. So far, research reports on Hericium erinaceum have focused mainly on polysaccharidescomponents at home and abroad, and so on, while researches on their small molecularcomponents were less and not deepgoing.Modern medical and pharmacological researches showed that small molecular substancesas cyathane-type diterpenoids and irregular terpenoids as nerve grow factor stimulator canremedy Senile Dementia, while sterols have remarkable effect on deducing cholesterol, restraining cancer, arresting oxidization, resisting inflammation, prophylaxis and treatment ofthe diseases. Thus it is of great realistic carry out deepgoing researches on chemicalcompositions, especially small molecular substances, in Hericium erinaceum. As the research object of this thesis in Hericium erinaceu mycelia fermented liquid. Ninecompounds were isolated by kinds of chromatographic separation methods and senven ofthem were identified based on spectral data [MS,1D-NMR,2D-NMR (HMQC and HMBC),UV and IR] and physical constants, include of two indole alkaloids and two lactam alkaloids. In bioassay, compound3showed significant antifungal activity towards Botrytis cinereaand Glomerella cingulata, with the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of6.25μM, thismay because ortho-dihydroxy(C-10,-11) was more sensitive to pathogenic bacteria;compound1and3were efficient to improve scavenging DPPH radical activity, with IC50of12.56μM, may because contains many hydroxyl groups with active hydrogen. Besides, ergosterol compound6also showed higher antifungal activity towards Botrytis cinerea andGlomerella cingulata with the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of12.50μM and theability of scavenging DPPH radical with IC50of11.38μM.
