Heilongjiang province is one of the most important productive areas of spring wheat. After more than60years breeding, research specialist staff in Heilongjiang province created ecological types of new varieties of wheat with resistance, good quality and high-yielding, those varies played an important role in wheat production in Heilongjiang province. Vernalization and Photoperiod played critical roles in wheat growth period and wheat production, the study on vernalization and photoperiod gene provide a new theoretical basis for introduction and ecological breeding of spring wheat in Heilongjiang province, and has important significant for wheat production. In this study,126wheat varieties of Heilongjiang province was selected, agronomic traits were observed and divided into3group, early maturity, medium maturity and late maturity, accounting for24%,33%and43%respectly. Agronomic traits,vernalization and photoperiod gene of spring wheat in Heilongjiang province was studied, the results were as follows:1.Vernalization gene Vrn-Ala, Vrn-B1, Vrn-D1and Vrn-B3were detected in126spring wheat, the frequencies of dominant vernalization alleles were different. Dominant alleles In Vrn-Al, Vrn-B1and Vrn-D1occupied92.1%,57.1%and47.6%repectively. In Vrn-B3site, All of126wheat varieties have recessive gene.2.Photoperiod gene Ppd-D1was detected,50varieties contain allelic gene Ppd-Dla, accounting for39.7%,76varieties contain allelic gene Ppd-Dlb, accounting for60.3%. There were13combinations of dominant alleles in vernalization and photoperiod gene. Dominant combination Vrn-Ala/Vrn-D1is most, accounting for21.4%, then followed by Vrn-Ala/Vrn-B1/Vrn-D1, accounting for14.3%of spring wheat in Heilongjiang province.3. The effect of vernalization and photoperiod gene on agronomic traits was analyzed, result suggest that Stolon Characteristic is uncorrelated to vernalization gene, wheat contained Ppd-Dla gene earlier than wheat contained Ppd-Dlb gene1-5days at heading stage.
