Fengcheng, a city of Liaoning Province, is one of the serious areas hit by the Rodents. The Rodentsaffected the agricultural production of our city seriously, not only damaging the environment, but alsotheatening the health and property of our citizens. In order to investigate the agricultural Rodents andthe technology in prevention and control of this area, the exploratory study has been carried out in suchvillages as Anle Village in Daxing Town, Wujia Village in Baiqi Town and Longdao Village in AnyangTown, which is supported by the national unified anti-rat demonstration project of the Ministry ofAgriculture.The following are the detailed steps.First of all, we have observed and studied the occurrence of agricultural rodents, have had apreliminary understanding of the dynamic situation in the agricultural areas, and have summarized andanalyzed the changable character of agricultural rodents. Moreover, we have accomplished the test of0.005%Bromadiolone Long equipped with different inducement food consumption and have screenedout the suitable inducement for the agricultural rodent of the city. What’s more, we have completed thechoice experiment studies in different materials bait stations, selecting the bait stations which is suitablefor the chemical prevention and control of Rodent in the agricultural areas of our city. Last but not theleast, we have carried out the test study on poison bait station with different materials and screened outthe suitable poison bait station.What’s more, we have proved the following results during the three years’ investigation andexperient. First, the two months, May and September, are the best periods for Fengcheng to carry outthe unified Rodents. Second,20days later after the5%enemy bromine lung was used, the effect inresidential area was87.5%, the effect in farmland area was used was85.7%, and the average controleffect was86.6%. So we can see that the0.005%Bromadiolone Long rodenticide has a good controleffect in Fengcheng, and that the0.005%Bromadiolone Long rodenticide has good palatability. Inaddition, farmland area average feeding rate was66.4%, and the average residential feeding rate of57.0%. So the0.005%Bromadiolone Long rodenticide is suitable for FengCheng City to spread.Third, as a speciality in Fengcheng, the silkworm chrysalis performs well in the inducing and testingexperiment. The feeding rates in farmland from2008to2010are all over40%. And the average feedingrate is up to42.8%. Apples also have significant lure effect, the average feed rate of the three yearsreaches38.8%.So silkworm chrysalis and apple have better inducement, which can increase the rate ofrodent traps. But owing to the higher price of silkworm chrysalis, we suggest using apples. Fourth,Poison bait station deratization has many characteristics, such as efficient, economy, environmentalprotection, safety, and so on.The farmland control rat in Fengcheng can choose plastic finished productspoison bait station, and farmers control rat poison bait station can choose bricky build by laying bricksor stones. But as a result of plastic finished product poison bait station each prices in4-5yuan. Ifwidespread use of poison bait station, we suggest using homemade PVC poison bait station, whose costis low and the control effect is very good.
