This experiment use artificial cultivated seabuckthorn leaves as raw materials of roughage, after treatment with air drying, micro-storage, ammoniation and other methods, basic nutrition comPosition of seabuckthorn leaves before and after treatment were determined and compared; The treated seabuckthorn leaves were rePlaced as Part of the roughage to feed sheeP, the aPP^arent digestibility of every nutrients of total mixed ration were determined in sheeP; The effects of seabuckthorn leaves total mixed ration on growth Performance and meat quality of the sheeP was studied. This study Povided scientific basis for Production aPPlication of seabuckthorn leaves as ruminants new feed resources.Test1:The different treatment of seabuckthorn leaves and the content change of nutritive materials. After treatment with air drying, micro-storage, ammoniation and other methods, basic nutrition comPosition of seabuckthorn leaves before and after treatment were determined. The crude Protein content of seabuckthorn leaves was imProved after treatment with the micro-storage and ammoniation. The difference of ammoniation grouP was significant compared with air drying and micro-storage grouP (P<0.05); Crude fat content of micro-storage and ammoniation grouP was imProved. Neutral detergent fiber(NDF) and acid detergent fiber(ADF) were decreased. The difference was significant (P<0.05) comPared with the air drying grouP.Test2:The effects of different treatment of seabuckthorn leaves on the aPParent digestibility of total mixed ration in sheeP. There are a large of artificial cultivation sebuckthorn stand in Sinkiang, Seabuckthorn branches and leaves have abundant nutrition which can be used as the develo Pment and utilization of roughages in ruminants. The dried, silage, ammoniation, three different methods were used to dealed with seabuckthorn leaves, exPloring the most suitable methods for Sinkiang sheeP’s digestive utilization.:9Sinkiang male army fine-wool sheeP were selected as exPerimental animal, which were randomly divided into3grouPs, each grouP included3rePetitions. In TMR,adding artificial cultivation of seabuckthorn branches and leaves after sun-dried were used as control grouP, adding the leaves after silage added to basal diet as micro storage grouP, adding the leaves after microbial silage as ammoniation grouP, Direct collection feces was used to measure the aPParent digestibility about dry matter (DM), organic matter (OM),Protein (CP), neutral detergent fiber (NDF), and acid detergent fiber (ADF) of four different TMR. The results showed that, the aPParent digestibility of DM, OM, CP, and NDF of micro storage grouP has significant difference comPared with the control grouP excePt ADF has significant difference, which were increased by26.8%、29.6%、37.7%and16.6%; the DM, OM, C P, NDF and ADF’s aPParent digestibility of ammoniated grouP has significantly difference contrasted with the control ones (P<0.05), which were increased33.7%、23.4%、29.2%、34.9%and25.9%. Artificial cultivation of seabuckthorn branches and leaves after silage and ammoniation was most suitable as animal forage and sPread in ruminant aPPlication.Test3:The effects of different treatment of seabuckthorn leaves on the growth Performance of the sheeP. The seabuckthorn leaves was treated with three different methods of air drying, micro-storage and the ammoniation. The results showed that, on the30th day, the ammoniation and the micro-storage grouP have significant difference comPared with control grouP(P<0.05), micro-storage grouP was the highest, followed by ammoniation grouP, the control grouP was the lowest; On the30th day, micro-storage grouP and ammoniation grouPs, the average body length comPared with the control grouPwere significantly different (P<0.05), micro-storage was the highest grouP.There was a significant difference in ammoniation grouP comPared with control grouP, imrPove11.2%in DM feed intake (P<0.05); The silage grouP has extremly significant difference with control grouP in Ratio of meat to feed (FCR)(P<0.01), the dry grouPand the ammonition grouPhad no significant difference with control grouP in conversion efficiency of the feed (P>0.05); The silage and the ammonition had extremly significant difference with control grouP in ADG (P<0.01), imProving resPectively39.8%and24.0%. Artificial cultivation of seabuckthorn branches and leaves after silage was most suitable as animal forage and sPread in ruminant aPPlication.Test4:The effects of different treatment of seabuckthorn leaves on the slaughter Performance and meat quality of the sheeP. Using treated seabuckthorn leaves for all mixed diets feed to sheeP. SheeP slaughter live weight, carcass weight, meat weight of micro-storage and the ammoniation grouPs were imProved significantly (P<0.05) comPared with the control grouP, in which slaughter live weight, carcass weight, meat weight of micro-storage grouP was the highest; exPerimental grouP marbling scores were lower than the control grouP, the difference was significant (P<0.05); exPerimental grouP arm muscle loss rate was higher than the control grouP, and the difference was significant (P<0.05); crude Protein content in different Parts of the muscle was the highest, the exPerimental grouP was significantly different comPared with the control grouP(P<0.05), micro-storage grouP was the lowest; arm muscle and gluteal fat content, air drying grouP and the micro-storage grouP were higher, the difference was significantly (P<0.05); each grouP back muscle fat content Pairwise comParisons were not significantly different (P>0.05); crude ash back muscles in each grouP comPared with the other three grouPs were significantly different (P<0.05), in which the micro-storage grouP was the lowest, and the air drying was the highest.
