| Cotton harvester plays an important role in the whole process of cotton harvest while it isthe main tools used for cotton harvest. But we find that there are many technical matters haveconnections with cotton’s physical and mechanical properties in the process of design andappliance of cotton harvester. Therefore, the need for cotton related to the mechanicalproperties of the basic test, obtain the necessary parameters of the mechanical properties ofcotton, it is an important guiding significance to improve the net rate of mining and upgradingof cotton picker.In this paper established single-spindle test-bed and measurement and control system,using virtual simulation technology to spindle pick is simulated, through experimentalanalysis the main factors affecting the net rate, reveals the performance of spindle picking.The main contributions are as follows:(1) By taking advantage of the electric displacement tensile test bench to test themechanical properties of cotton, the effect factors of cotton leaves mechanical properties areanalyzed, the results show that under three different open cotton, the moisture content indifferent situations, the results show that the force between cotton shell and seed cottonbecome smaller along the process of seed cotton’s mature, with the increase of moisturecontent of seed cotton, seed cotton fiber breaking force; pearl cotton after spraying defoliant,through seven consecutive days of cotton pearl cotton quantity statistics concluded: inspraying defoliant19-21days, full open cotton number peak, the optimum harvest at thistime.(2) Through the research and analysis of the spindle picking process, application ofSolidworks software virtual design of the single spindle test bed model, and then set up isused to measure picking parameters of single-spindle test-bed, establishment of the single-spindle test-bed station monitoring and control system based on LabVIEW platformdevelopment, can very good finish spindle pick test work after tests. Picking cotton spindlewas established based on ADAMS software, the virtual model, through the analysis of thevirtual process of cotton picking, draw a spindle picking cotton used time of0.1128s-0.1198sbetween, picking individual flowers cotton spindle winding circle number is7.899-8.386times(3) Using the single factor analysis method, combining with single spindle test bench, theinfluential factors of the cotton-picking machine that the net rate is analyzed, concluded underdifferent open cotton has a significant effect on the net rate; for full cotton, spindle speed at3000r/min, the net rate has reached90%, up to the standard stipulated that the net rate, when the rotating speed is4000-4500r/min, the net rate reach the highest,95.82%, But when thespeed is more than4500r/min, the net rate gradually decreases. Use of measurement andcontrol system analysis in the process of picking the size of the picking force, usinghigh-speed cameras to capture of unginned cotton shell and fluid separation process,measured spindle picking cotton laps is7.939-9.087times, picking time is0.1198s-0.1268s. |
