(Objective)The purpose of the test was to study the effect of different dilution rate (D)on rumenfermentation parameters, microbial activity and nutrient digestibility, thereby to determine the mostappropriate D rate of this equipment.(Methods) Using single factor complete random design to researchfermentation situation of double outflow artificial rumen continuous simulation system under the conditionsof6,8,10and12%/h liquid D rate, and under the conditions of30,40and50g/d.(Results)With the Drate growth, the pH increased (P<0.05), and NH3-N concentration descended (P<0.05). As the D rateincreased from6%/h to10%/h, it made TVFA and pentanoic acid concentration decreased significantly(P<0.05). When the D rate from6%/h up to8%/h, the number of protozoon increased by6.91%significantly (P<0.05), but when the D rate from8%up to12%/h, it dropped by5.18%significantly(P<0.05). Along with the D rate increased from6%/h to10%/h, the xylanase activity and MCP productionreduced significantly (P<0.05), as well as the CP digestion rate and increased significantly (P<0.05). TheNDF degradation rate of the groups of10and12%/h were higher than that the other two treatment groupssignificantly (P<0.05). As the the feed level of fermentaters increased, the pH and NH3-N concentrationreduced significantly (P<0.05). When the feed scales by30g/d increase to50g/d, the TVFA concentrationwas reduced by9.07%(P<0.05), Following the feed level from30g/d increase to50g/d, TVFAconcentration significantly reduced9.07%(P<0.05), acetic acid concentration had a downward trend, butnot significant (P>0.05). Along with the feed scales from30g/d up to40g/d, each milliliter fermentation ofprotozoon quantity increased by3.04%(P<0.05),and the feed scales from and40g/d increase to50g/d,protozoon quantity increased by2.39%(P<0.05).When the feed level from and40g/d up to50g/d, the CPdegradation rate of solid chyme in fermenters reduced significantly (P<0.05). There was a trend towardabout the disappearance rate of DM increased with the diet added. Conclusion: In a relatively high level ofinventory conditions (40to50g/d) and the D rate was8%/h in fermentater, the the number of protozoa andenzyme activity, each rumen fermentation parameters are also more conducive to rumen fermentation, socan be recommended as the type continuous dynamic rumen simulation system are studied the optimum operating conditions.
