This paper selected78soil and flue-cured tobacco samples and69soil profiles as study object, which were sampled from10main tobacco-planting countries, i.e., Linqu, Mengyin, Zhucheng, Feixian,Wulian, Juxian,Guiyang, Jianghua, Jiangchuan, Nanjian. Investigated soil parent materials, soil types, soil use manners and profile of hierarchy, determined the contents of Fe, Mn, Cu and Zn in the samples.Distributing characters in soil profiles from different parent materials and influence factors were allanalyzed in this paper. The aim was to provide a theoretical basis for the flue-cured tobacco production. The results showed that:1. There were large differences between the soil available Fe, Mn, Cu, Zn in different tobacco-planting regions. The contents of available Fe and Mn in the plough horizon in Shandong were plentiful, which average content was289.82mg/kg and174.66mg/kg, while those of Cu and Zn were moderateand insufficient respectively, which average content was0.83mg/kg and0.69mg/kg; the contents ofavailable Fe, Mn, Cu, Zn were all plentiful in Yunnan and Xiangnan regions. The average content of Fe,Mn, Cu, Zn in Xiangnan was41.70mg/kg,42.06mg/kg,3.31mg/kg,2.99mg/kg, which in Yunnan was41.70mg/kg,42.06mg/kg,3.31mg/kg,2.99mg/kg.2. Significantly negative correlations were observed between the contents of available Fe, Mn andpH while significantly positive correlation found between soil available Cu, Zn and organic matter.3. Available microelements were obviously accumulated in plough horizon in most soil profiles.Under the condition of same parent material of different development degree profile, the microelementshad downward migration trends with development degree deepening.4. There were big affects between microelements contents and distributing characters in soilprofiles from different soil use manners. The Fe, Mn of every layer in dry-water soil were much higherthan that in dry land, at the same time, affected by Eh and pH, there was not obvious rules in each layer5. The Fe contents in tobacco leaves were in a higher standard in Shandong and Xiangnan regions, which average content was289.82mg/kg and174.66mg/kg, the Mn and Cu contents were moderate, which average content was133.46mg/kg,13.24mg/kg130.42mg/kg,10.08mg/kg, the Zn wasinsufficient; the Fe and Zn contents in tobacco leaves were in a higher standard in Yunnan, while the Mnand Cu contents were moderate.6. There was certain influence on the content of microelements in soil and tobacco leaves betweendifferent soil types and parent materials. Available Fe, Mn, Cu, Zn contents in skeletal soil weresignificantly lower than that in red soil and paddy soil, microelements contents in tobacco leaves werebalance in brown earth which derived from limestone parent materials and skeletal soil which derivedfrom sandstone parent materials, but the microelements contents in tobacco leaves were unbalance inclay loam.
