This experiment was conducted with seeds of two different drought resistance cultivars (Tai10604and Jin tai9923) seeds as materials, using different doses of plasma treatment(4×1016N+/cm2、6×1016N+/cm2、8×1016N+/cm2) to study the seeds germination and seedling growth, and compared the plasma effect on the two wheat calfivars. In addition, this paper further studied on the effects of the optimal dosage on physiological indicators of seedlings under the model drought resistance by using of20%PEG-6000, then compared the ability of drought resistance of two wheat cultivars which has treated by the plasma. The results show that:1. The wheat seeds were treated by different doses of plasma, which could obviously improve the germination rate, germination index, lateral roots, root length, plant height, dry weight, ratio of root to shoot, a-amylase activity and soluble protein content of Tai10604, in the treatment at6×1016N+/cm2, there were the most significant effect on the indicators of wheat seedling, and each index respectively increased by23.3%,25.2%,19.2%,10.6%,11.5%,10.2%,10.3%,32.1%and21.9%than control. For Jintai9923, when the treatment dose was8x1016N+/cm2, the plasma inhibited the growth of seedlings and the indicators were lower than control, such as the germination rate and dry weight reduced by4.14%,2.80%respectively. But at the best treatment doses is4x1016N+/cm2, the indicators were higher than control. The results indicated that suitable plasma could promote the seeds germination and growth. And at their respective best dose treatment, the indicators increased ratio of Jintai9923mostly higher than Tail0604, that is to say the former is more sensitive than the latter to the plasma.2. During the whole stage of drought stress (72h), at the respective best dose treatment, the soluble sugar content, proline content, soluble protein content and SOD, POD, CAT activity of two wheat cultivars were higher than that untreated, but the membrane permeability and MDA content were significantly lower than untreated. The SOD, POD, CAT activity of Tai10604were increased by8.91%-20.82%,8.91%-29.67%,15.33%-39.82%, and the indicators of Jintai9923respectively increased by12.88%-19.09%,16.40%-19.09%,29.64%-38.80%, the change range of the rest of the indicators of Jintai9923were larger. The above results indicated that the plasma could improve the ability of drought-resistant of wheat seedlings, but the improvement of Jintai9923with weak drought resistance was greater than Tai10604with strong drought resistance.
