Wireless sensor network and multimedia data fusion with the development of the sensortechnique,machine vision and communication technology. It is more widely used among themodern facilities for agriculture and precision agriculture,And gradually become a researchfocus of new disciplines and agricultural information. Papers on crop production the wholeprocess of remote monitoring include: the amount of physical environment, growing videoinformation. The system reflects crop growth condition,water demand,the plant diseases andinsect pests base on text,picture and video,So in order to take the corresponding productionmanagement decisions. The main research contents are as follows:1.This thesis is based on the actual situation in the crop production environment, such asdata acquisition, signal processing, data storage and transmission. It combined with thetemperature and humidity, light intensity, pictures, video information collection requirements.We compared various implementation plans on the basis of stability,and based on the Hi3512chip crop information collector.2.Sensor nodes via the ZigBee network, RS232communication between the PANcoordinator and multi-source information collection system. Video signals through CVBSinterface to the acquisition system, and H.264video compression Hi3512chip.3.Temperature and humidity information, lighting information and compression of videocode flows through the3G module is sent to the crop production monitoring center. Thesystem hardware design, including: Hi3512and CC2430chip peripheral circuit design, PCIslots, SATA interface, ETH interface, JTAG emulation interface, serial interface. The softwarepart of the design include: the establishment of a system development environment, andtransplantation of U-boot and programming, Linux kernel porting, the root file systemproduced, each module driver.4.the acquisition system debugging, and experiment in the four greenhouses of theNational Agricultural Information Engineering Technology Research Center. We havecompleted the sensor ZigBee network, multimedia data acquisition, video codec and3Gtransmission.The thesis studies show that:Collection system to the physical environment information,images, video, information can satisfy needs of the crop monitoring, has great practical value,and laying a solid foundation for further.
