In the modern agriculture, harvester is developing towards theintellectualization and automation. But the analog simulation dashboard is stillused on the harvester to display the running states and parameters of the machinein our country. It is not convenient for extension of a variety of automation andintelligent function in this platform. Therefore to develop on-board digitalinformation processing platform on the harvester based on a modern integratedcircuit is an important step to improve the automation and intellectualization ofharvester in our country.ARM, as embedded microcontroller processor, is low power consumption,simple, delicate and full static. In this paper, I proposed to build informationprocessing platform based on the ARM processor chip S3C2440A which isproduced by the SAMSUNG company, so as to the display the operationparameters and machine warning and identification of block fault real-time. Themain research contents and results are as follows.The sensing information preprocessing module is designed and theextraction algorithm of digital information is studied. The characteristic ofsensor information is analyzed. Information preprocessing and digital processingmodule is designed. In view of the different sensor signal a specific extractionalgorithm of digital information is setted. According to engine speed and rollerspeed information the algorithm of intelligent warning of block is studied.Information processing device based on ARM microprocessoris designed.According to the needs of various sensor information processing, the embeddedsystem hardware platform is setted up. The functional units on the integratedcircuit boards such as main control unit, integration and acquisitionpreprocessing of the information unit, peripheral interface circuit and so on isdesignned on the detail.The software of Information processing system is designned. The sensorinformation processing procedures supportted by the Windows CE operatingsystem is developed, including the main program, drivers of hardware device, theextraction subroutine of data collection, warning subroutine, LCD panel interface, etc.The system is debugged. The application is writed to the embeddedhardware platform based on Windows CE operating system and the informationprocessing system is carried on the actual test. the test process, The display ofparameter is in normal, and the fault warning and alarm of the artificialsimulation of the roller jam is displayed successful.
