Peony Dried Protecting Color And Guard Shaped Research

As the socialist market economy has developed rapidly,the living standard ofChinese people has risen considerably. Fresh flowers as ornament in people’s dailylife, the need of them is increasing.But flowers have a fixed flowering,and someflowers have strong regional restrictions,such as oil,climate and so on.In order to meetpeople’s growing material and cultural needs,dried flowers come into people’s lifegradually.Dried flowers endow natural and rustic beauty. Similar to artificial flowers, dried flowers would not wither easily and could inspire artistic creativity with its wide range of applications and hence, it is loved by many.As a rare flower specie, peony has a wide market demand,and for the shortflorescence and strict regional restrictions, transforming peony into dried flower canoffer benefit to enlarge the peony industry. This research used Luoyang peony as themain material, where a series of systematic researches were involved: Color protectionprocessing prior to the drying of the flowers, the regulation of process parameters tofreeze-drying the flowers, the coating of the dried flowers, the texture detection of thedried flower coats and the sensory evaluation of the end product of the dried flowers todetermine the factors and parameters of the color protection effect, the optimalparameters for the freeze-drying and methods of the dried flower coating as well as thequality of these evaluation criteria. The major findings of this subject is as follows:1. The using of ultrasonic nebulizer can atomize color protection solution spray, itcan achieve good color protection,and color protection factors and parameters pH=2.0, citric acid mass fraction is4%,3%magnesium chloride mass fraction, massfraction of konjac gumis0.05%.2. Vacuum freeze-drying test, draw peony vacuum freeze-drying the optimumconditions and parameters are pre-freezing temperature of-45℃, pre-freezing time2h,vacuum degree of10Pa, the heating temperature of30℃, dry conditionsPeonyFlower-shaped better.3. It is the first time for using air compressors and high-viscosity liquids gun to atomize spraying the film-forming solution at dried flower-spraying.This technology isinnovative.4. We found that the higher the quality of the film-forming substances,the betterof the film-forming properties,the ductility of the dried flowers and the puncturestrength for comparing several coating materials. But the mass fraction of film-forming material resch to some point or more will make the solution viscosity andcounld not be atomized,then it counld not meet the requirements of uniformspraying.In this study,the best film-forming substance is polyvinyl alcohol.Throuthlong time observation,we found that the color of dried flowers changes most whenthey covered with chitosan solution.The reason of this phenomenon may related to thecolor of chitosan solution.Chitosan solution has a transparent light yellow,shallow.Itmay effect the original color of the dried flowers.5. The mass fraction at5%of polyvinyl alcohol solution has the best film-forming properties when the pH=6.2.The ductility of dried flowers products afterspraying by this solution is excellent and difficult to damage.The puncture strength ofthe dried flowers treated by this solution is10.5times higher than those which are nottreated.
