The international community attaches great importance to global climate change, theimportance of forest carbon sinks in response to climate change become emerging. This study isbased on the basis of survey data about the fir and pine in Zhejiang, Jiangxi and Fujian province ofSouthern Collective Forest. Compared the cost-benefit status of the two species in differentprovinces respectively and analysis the causes of the differences. On this basis, estimate thesupply capacity. Analog affect the sensitivity of the carbon sinks supply factors, then put forwardpolicy recommendations. The main course of the study and conclusions are as follows.(1)Combing research progress of the domestic and international forest carbon sinks, the firand the Masson pine operating aspects. Predominate the basic research and basic management oftwo species, exploring the lack of research and pending innovations.(2)In the basis of Household survey data of the three provinces, divide operating stage intoafforestation, young Tending, middle-aged Tending and final cutting stage, analysis costs andbenefits and the causes of differences. The results show that the two species are similar in theinput structure, the labor is primary, but input and output is very different, the fir is higher thanpine in cost, income and net income. Net income of Fujian Province is much higher than others.(3)Using growth equation, carbon storage in biomass conversion and extension factor tocompare lev with carbon sinks benefits of fir and pine, then base on the change of carbon price, analyse the optimal rotation and carbon supply. The results show that lev of fir and pine presentfirst increasing then decreasing trend, carbon supply is higher than pine, but rotation is shorter.(4)Simulate the carbon sinks supply sensitivity of the discount rate, labor price, timber priceabout fir and pine. The study shows that they have negative correlation to carbon supply. discountrate sensitivity of pine is more sensitive to fir, others opposite. Jiangxi is the most sensitive.(5)Suggestions of increasing forest carbon supply mainly includes: Improved the level ofmechanization to reduce labor input; Aimed at tree species to select suitable rotation and mode ofmanagement; Select the right species to develop forestry carbon sinks; Different provinces choosewhether to operate according to the actual situation of forest carbon sinks.
