The photosynthetic physiological characteristics and drought tolerance under the artificialenvironment for different varieties of Anthurium andraeanum Lind (Dakota, Fantacy, Pink Champion)were studied. The conclusions showed that:(1)The change of light-light response curves to different varieties of Anthurium andraeanum wasconsistent, the conclusions were drawn that the photosynthesis capability of different varieties ofAnthurium andraeanum was: Dakota>Pink Champion>Fantacy. Light compensation point(LCP) andLight saturation point(LSP) difference was obvious. They all had different abilities of using light anddifferent light adaptation range, the order was as follows: Dakota>Pink Champion>Fantacy. And thelight energy conversion efficiency of different varieties of Anthurium andraeanum varied in the order:Dakota>Pink Champion>Fantacy.(2) The curves diurnal variation of net photosynthetic rate of different varieties of Anthuriumandraeanum have two peaks, There were "photosynthetic break" phenomenon at noon. And the diurnalvariation of transpiration rate of different varieties of Anthurium andraeanum was similar to Pn,whereas the curves diurnal variation of water use efficiency of different varieties of Anthuriumandraeanum showed “V” type change trend.(3) The response between the net photosynthetic rate of different varieties of Anthuriumandraeanum and the physiological and ecological factors were different, and the main influence onphotosynthesis were intercellular CO2concentration (Ci) and transpiration rate (Tr), stomatalconductance (Cond).(4) The drought resistance physiological data of different varieties of Anthurium andraeanumunder drought stress shows that: As the extension of drought processing cycles, leaf content ofchlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, total chlorophyll of different varieties of Anthurium andraeanumdecreased“first rised and decreased afterwards”, and activity of POD, the content of soluble proteinpersistently increased, while MDA increased before falling to rise again. The content of SOD of Dakotaand Fantacy appear to fall after rise, Pink Champion keep relatively stable. (5) With the extension of drought stress treatment cycle, and the degree of drought stress wasincreased, different varieties of Anthurium andraeanum leaf maximal fluorescence (Fm), maximalphotochemical efficiency of PS Ⅱ(Fv/Fm),potential photochemical efficiency of PSⅡ (Fv/Fo)declinegradually, minimal fluorescence (Fo)rise, Dakota, Fantacy ETR decreased, Pink Champion ETR showeda trend of increase gradually; Dakota and Pink Champion effective quantum yield of PSⅡphotochemistry (Y) and photochemical quenching coefficient (qP) increases gradually, Fantacy Y andqP decline, the value of non-photochemical quenching coefficient (qN) are relatively stable, onlyFantacy have weak increase.
