In recent years, the concept of associate effects of the components of diet has been drawn gradually people’s more and more attention since the TMR has been used more extensively. The principle of additivity of utilization rate of Static feed nutrients was no longer met the requirements of the objective development. The experiment was carried out in vitro gas production technology, short-term artificial rumen method and the nylon bag method to study the regulation of rumen degradation of dietary components and diet such as oat hay, Leymus chinensis, concentrate, alfalfa+silage and diet1(added oat hay is1.2kg, L. chinensis is0kg). diet2(added oat hay is0kg,L.chinensis1.2kg)、diet3(added oat hay is0.6kg,L.chinensis is0.6kg), in order to provide partially scientific basis for more effective usage of grasses in dairy industry. The following three parts of test were included:1The investigation of the use of forage in shanghai dairy farm The part of the experiment through investigation4farms has demonstrated that the main kinds of forage used in shanghai district, including alfalfa, oat hay, Chinese wild rye and corn silage, some dairy farms also use silage barley and fresh carrots. At present, the average amount of feeding oat hay and Chinese wild rye in TMR supplied for the whole day for the high producing Holstein dairy cattle is about0~1.5kg. Part of the whole dairy farms would not make the Chinese wild rye as the ingredient of TMR used for high producing dairy cattle. The content of NDF, ADF in oat hay is lower than that in Chinese wild rye, but RFV is higher. Therefore, in the aspect of the quality of the forage, oat hay is superior to Chinese wild rye. However, the RFV of oat hay in shanghai district is below100in general, according to different grade table there was25%first-grade and75%two-grade oat hay used in shanghai district. The content of CP in oat hay is inferior to Chinese wild rye applied at the moment.2Study on the fermentation regulation of TMR contented with oat hay or Chinese wild rye by the method of artificial rumen The part of the experiment is mainly about observation for the fermentation charactersicst of the TMR contented different percentage of oat hay and Chinese wild rye in short-term artificial rumen. The study was carried out to investigate different ration components (grain feed, oat hay, Chinese wild rye, alfalfa+silage) and rations (ration1, ration2, ration3) fermentated in vitro using the device of artificial simulation of rumen. The items such as gas production, gas generation rate and gas production parameters were recorded at1、2、3、4、5、6、7、8、10、12、16、20、24、32、36、48、54、60、66、72h after fermentation in group1.While in group2, we got98glasses bottles(100mL each one) with rubber stoppers as culture containers,14bottles for each sample. Culture time was divided into2,6,12,24hours, for each time point has triplicate has been used for detecting DM degradation efficiency, PH, the concentration of NH3-N and VFA after fermentation. The result demonstrated that the gas production and gas production rate in oat hay was higher than that in Chinese wild rye significantly (p<0.05), whereas when they mixed with TMR respectively, an opposite result has been obtained. The degradation efficiency in oat hay was higher than that in Chinese wild rye. Regarding degradation rate of different of TMR ration formulation, diet3was the highest, and, diet2was higher than that in diet1. pH and the concentration of NH3-N were in normal rangs for all of them; In the aspect of associate effect, diet3was a little higher than diet2and dietl was the lowest one by recording the DM degradation efficiency, pH, the concentration of NH3-N and VFA after fermentation at the time point of24h. As a result, at the condition of ration formula of this experiment, appropriate preoption of Chinese wild rye in TMR was more conductive for the feed to develop their associate effect.3The research of the degradation regulation of TMR contented oat hay or Chinese wild rye in the cow rumen The part of the experiment aims to find the degradation regulation of TMR with different ratio of oat hay and Chinese wild rye through nylon bag technique in the cow rumen.Putting goup1(grain feed, oat hay, Chinese wild rye, alfalfa+silage)which weight is about6-8g,grain feed, group2(diet l,diet2, diet3)which weight is about10g into each nylon bag which would be sent into the rumen through rumen fistula before the first feeding in the morning, took back at the culture timing point of0,2,6,8,12,36,48,72h to detect the correlative indices. Results show that the DM degradation of oat hay is higher than that of Chinese wild rye. In the aspect of rapid degradation rate (a), diet3was higher than that in diet2, diet1was the lowest one. While in the aspect of degradation speed, we may find that diet3was the first one, the second one was diet2, the lowest one was diet1. The DM degradation detected by Nylon bag technique has a significantly related linear regression with the one detected with short-term artificial rumen technique. In the aspect of associate effect, the NDF degradation rate of diet1, diet2, diet3has a positive effect, diet2was the top one, and diet3was the lowest; the OM degradation of diet1, diet2, diet3has a negative effect, diet1has the highest negative effect. In summary, the nutrition value of Chinese wild rye may not be better than oat hay in comparison each other, but the former can produce a positive associate effect when combined with other ingredient. Therefore, in practical product, using Chinese wild rye appropriately replaces oat hay can enhance the utilization rate of roughage, and reducing feed cost.
