Study On The Evolvement Of Vertical Greening Technology And The Design Practice Of Plant Curtain Wall

This paper, on the basis of related literature’s collection and analysis of vertical greening functionsand different styles of key skills, studied the evolution of vertical greening skills and explored the newskills and planning train of thought, offering new thinkings of use of plant curtain wall in vertical space.The paper was devided into five chapters, aiming to provide inspiration and help to the specificimplementation of plant curtain wall by discussing the evolution of vertical greening skills afterstudying related literatures and patents information, as well as technology; and analyzing the systematicskills of plant curtain wall, structural nodes and practice case.(1) It provides valuable train of thought and ways to the plan of plant curtain wall which is thefoundation of greening design in vertical space, ensuring the foresight and innovation on the train ofthought by studying the related studies of vertical greening, discussing the evolution process of verticalgreening skills and making comparison and summary to the different skills of vertical greening at homeand abroad and corresponding typical cases.(2) It, by analyzing the basic design principles and related techniques and studying deeply the nodeconstruction of plant curtain wall, completed a detail drawing of curtain wall nodes with convenient andenergy efficient by studying deeply the node construction of plant curtain wall, which is helpful toachieve the whole design, standard installation, watering layout, rapidly coming into being landscape. Italso discussed the plant curtain wall nodes and structure chart that plant curtain wall constructiondemands, as well as the node detail drawing of relationship between plant curtain wall and buildings.This one, in the end, showed the successful application that plant curtain wall used in the vertical spaceby making a depth analysis to indoor and outdoor typical practical cases.(3) Summarizing the evolutional studying of vertical greening skills and design practice of plantcurtain wall is helpful to offer the basis and reference to the design of plant curtain wall in the future.
