With city scale expanding in Wuhan, urban vertical greening in urban green space system plays an immeasurable role. For technology development of vertical greening and the establishment of related policies provide reference and scientific basis. From2012to2013, this paper respectively about vertical greening technology application present situation of10pedestrian bridge,10highway overpass,11wall,12roof in Wuhan as the research object, for arrangement of plants, cultivation matrix, facilities, technology, water and fertilizer management, and other key technical elements research. At the same time, using analytic hierarchy process, the influence factors of the vertical greening in wuhan comprehensive analyse and scientific evaluate. The basic conclusions are as follows:1. On the kinds of plants configuration, there are24kinds of plants in bridge greening and more plants are evergreen shrubs, including pittosporum, Japanese asmine, Japanese Fatsia, Chinese Box, Japanese Aucuba, France Holly, etc, accounting for29.2%of the total application of plants; There are25kinds of plants in wall greening and more plants are herbs, including radix ophiopogonis, Indian Pink, Buddhanail, Carthamus tinctorious creeping oxalis, etc; There are67kinds of plants in roof greening and more plants are evergreen shrubs, including Firethorn, Homy Holly, Redrlowered Loropetalum, Common Nandina, Glossy Privet, etc.2. On the typeof cultivation matrix, the pedestrian bridge greening apply more lightweight peat soil and it has high organic matter content, air permeability and good water holding; Large modular wall greening adopts soilless cultivation technology and it uses the nutrient solution to provide nutrients for plants.3. On the infrastructure technology, bridge greening and wall greening uses the automatic irrigation system, this system can not only provide nutrient and moisture for plants, but also save water and protect the environment.4. To analysis of50copies of the questionnaire survey about balcony greening shows that32%of residents uses the balcony greening;58%of residents are satisfied with their own greening effect; Only28%of residents think the balcony greening is of great significance for urban greening;58%of the residents are very agree with the government to carry out the balcony greening in the city. 5. Using the AHP to comprehensive analysis of the influence factors of vertical greening in Wuhan, the results show that the plant factor weight value is0.4570and so plants diversity for the vertical greening landscape effect plays a decisive role; Technical personnel in the weight value of0.0379that shows technology innovation and the introduction of talent supplied a technical guarantee for the implementation of the vertical greening; The weight value of maintenance management is0.1661, so strengthening maintenance and management can save the costs of facilities replacement, etc.
