Thinking And Exploration About Training Of Agricultural Technology Extension At Baota District In Yan’an City

Agricultural technology extension is one of an important part of the strategy of revitalization of agriculture by science and technology. Meanwhile, it is a social public welfare undertaking to promote rural ecological environment improvement, increasing income and efficiency of agricultural. BaoTa, the political, economic and cultural center of Yan’an, undertake the significant mission of breakthroughing in development and showing the image of Yan’an. In recent years, lots of fruitful work had been done in training of agricultural technology extension at Baota district, especially in three leading industries of apple, vegetable and livestock. Based on the review of domestic and foreign training of agricultural technology extension and careful investigation in2007-2012at Baota district, the paper summarized the development and historical contribution of training of agricultural technology extension at Baota district in Yan’an city, analyzed the existing questions and provided the corresponding countermeasures.The main achievements of training of agricultural technology extension and at Baota district in Yan’an city were as follows:the increase of balance of grain production was further promoted; the construction of rural energy methane was further promoted; plant protection and quarantine was further promoted; the construction of specialized farmer cooperatives was further promoted; agricultural machinery and implement promotion and new service work acquired actual effect; farmer training of science and technology obtained new achievements; the reform and construction of grass-roots agricultural technology extension system achieved new progress. The paper summarized the experiences and inspiration of the agricultural technology extension and training, and enumerated the two success cases of apple industry model village in Renjiayuan Mountain of Lin Town and tents plant industry in Feng Zhuang Town.The paper analyzed the problems of training of agricultural technology extension and training at Baota district in Yan’an city based on summary of training experience of agricultural technology extension. The main five problems were as follows:the exhausted mechanism of training of agricultural technology extension restricted the extension strength; inadequacy funds restricts the extension business; grassroots promotion strength was weak, which restricted the development of extension system; the contradiction between labor shortage, low quality and modern agricultural industry was remarkable; the contradiction between agricultural production and quality, income of farmers and yield were particularly prominent. To sum up, the necessity of the reform of training of agricultural technology extension is intense in the current situation.Finally, this article made the countermeasures to perfect the training of agricultural technology extension at Baota district in Yan’an city from the following five aspects: establish and perfect the training system of agricultural technology extension at Baota district in Yan’an city; establish diversified input mechanism of training of agricultural technology; establish innovative mechanism of training of agricultural technology extension; strengthen the training for agricultural technology personnel to improve the level of service; strengthen training study for farmers to promote industrial quality and efficiency; build the construction of training network system. The future development trend of training of agricultural technology extension at Baota district in Yan’an city was analyzed and discussed. This research work would play a very important role in agricultural technology extension and provide guidance to promote the development of the agriculture at Baota district in Yan’an.
